Meet Our Sweet Goldendoodle! We’re looking for the perfect forever home for our beloved 8-year-old Goldendoodle. If you’re searching for a dog with a heart of gold, an upbeat personality, and endless love to give, he may be your perfect match. This handsome guy is incredibly friendly and affectionate. He absolutely loves people, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is fantastic with children. Wherever he goes, he brings happiness with him. He’s the type of dog who greets every day with a wagging tail and a positive attitude. Don’t let his age fool you—he’s still full of energy and loves to stay active. Whether it’s playing outside, going on walks, exploring, or simply being part of the action, he’s always ready for an adventure. He’s athletic, fun-loving, and truly enjoys life. The challenge he faces is anxiety during storms and other loud weather events. His ideal home would be with someone who is home most of the time and can provide him the attention he needs.

Story
We got LuLu at 7 weeks old. Her dad was a black standard poodle, and her mom was a cream goldendoodle. I met them both and they had wonderful temperaments. At the time, we had a great dane and we wanted her to have a friend. LuLu does well at the groomer and will jump in the shower for me to clean her at home. She will also sit patiently for me to blow dry her hair at home. About a month and a half ago, our great dane, Gretta passed away. LuLu was fine at the time, but we moved maybe a month later, and now she seems lost and lonely. I know she loves it when I work from home, because I am with her all day! I unfortunately can't do that anymore. I was lucky enough to take her with me to my job the first 9 months of her life, but I think that spoiled her to being with someone or another dog all the time. We have 2 busy teenagers and just aren't around like we used to. We just want her to find a loving home, and someone or a family that will enjoy her as much as we do.

Galdalf is stunning and majestic. He is also energetic, good with other dogs (large and small) and appears to be housetrained. He is affectionate with males and females and has enjoyed learning basic agility with us. The biggest thing with Galdalf is that he is an escape artist and can scale a 6 foot fence. He is not a dog that can be left alone outside - he will try to get away. He weighs approximatley 60lbs. Galdalf is not a non-shedding dog. He will require regular brushing and grooming. To adopt one of our animals, the first step is filling out OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://tapsusa.org/why-adopt/application/ (Please copy and paste the link into your browser.) Please make sure you get a confirmation that your application has been submitted. If you are a match for one of our pets, we will reach out to you to schedule a meet and greet. All meet and greets are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY The Animal Protectorates c/o Friendsville Animal Center 706 Kiser Station Road Friendsville, TN 37737 All animals are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before they go to new homes because that's the responsible way to keep them all safe. We only adopt to local homes in the immediate vicinity because we utilize our volunteer force to process home visits. Photos of your home, letters of reference are not acceptable which is why we only adopt locally. Only in very rare circumstances do we adopt out of area. Examples of this would be finding the perfect home for a senior animal or one that has other special needs that we have not been able to place locally for an extended period of time.
