Penny comes from a long line of gold doodles. She is loyal and very playful, and wonderful around children. We are looking for a good family (with children) home for her to go to.

Galdalf is stunning and majestic. He is also energetic, good with other dogs (large and small) and appears to be housetrained. He is affectionate with males and females and has enjoyed learning basic agility with us. The biggest thing with Galdalf is that he is an escape artist and can scale a 6 foot fence. He is not a dog that can be left alone outside - he will try to get away. He weighs approximatley 60lbs. Galdalf is not a non-shedding dog. He will require regular brushing and grooming. To adopt one of our animals, the first step is filling out OUR ADOPTION APPLICATION at https://tapsusa.org/why-adopt/application/ (Please copy and paste the link into your browser.) Please make sure you get a confirmation that your application has been submitted. If you are a match for one of our pets, we will reach out to you to schedule a meet and greet. All meet and greets are BY APPOINTMENT ONLY The Animal Protectorates c/o Friendsville Animal Center 706 Kiser Station Road Friendsville, TN 37737 All animals are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before they go to new homes because that's the responsible way to keep them all safe. We only adopt to local homes in the immediate vicinity because we utilize our volunteer force to process home visits. Photos of your home, letters of reference are not acceptable which is why we only adopt locally. Only in very rare circumstances do we adopt out of area. Examples of this would be finding the perfect home for a senior animal or one that has other special needs that we have not been able to place locally for an extended period of time. Story
Riya is an f1b aussidoodle. Her birthday is April 12, 2023. She just had her annual exam in July, so she will not need any vaccines until July 2027. She gets professionally groomed every 6-8 weeks and has been doing so since she turned 6 months old. She is on monthly Flea & Tick and heartworm prevention. She is allergic to chicken, so her food will need to be free of any chicken or chicken byproduct. Her current food is a salmon and sweet potato formula. She is on a daily allergy medication (generic zyrtec) per vet’s recommendation due to itchy skin. She’s primarily an indoor dog. She is house trained, but not crate trained. She will need someone who is experienced with doodles and / or high energy dogs and a fenced in yard. She would do best in a home with no small children as they seem to significantly increase her anxiety. She has never been aggressive towards people or other dogs. She will also need someone who is willing to be patient with her as she is an anxious pup in general.
