Story
Sophia is a sweet, gentle, loving babygirl who loves to cuddle, go for walks, car rides, and eating peanut butter. We got her as a puppy during a time when we were on night shift. Because of this she was not socialized growing up and can be skeptical around other dogs at first, but is still very kind, just shy. She has been a wonderful companion over the past 5 years. We have recently had a child and have found that having a dog has added significant stress to our already stressful new life. We live in an apartment and Sophia barks when she hears noise in the hallway and also gets upset and barks when we leave the house. This often wakes up and/or scares the baby. We also feel that we are not able to provide the proper attention, love and exercise that Sophia deserves. She would be best suited for someone with a house, yard/space, time and love to give.

Count-Goldendoodle male, Black DOB: 01/04/2025 Weight: 63 lbs. Contact rescuebc@hotmail.com for an application. Count came to Rescue when his prior owners could no longer care for him. He was taken into a Prison Training Program and here are a few words from the Head Trainer. "With dogs he is fabulous and a home with a very friendly outgoing, love everyone dog would be awesome for him. On assessment in female foster home for a week, he warmed up within two days and was following her around and happy camper. Very treat and food motivated (wonderful to find out) I used my dog, Zara to make friends with him (great with dogs) and we were able to get him to come out of he car and go to mine. Loaded like a dream into my car and was crated on the ride to prison program. No growling or barking noted during the meet and greet with all the strangers at LaGrange Prison Program." The Prison Program does not have the ability to test him with cats or kids, so those are an unknown. He will be tested once he's out of the Program. Counts adoption fee is $600 to help cover the medical costs of getting ready for adoption.
