Story
Ginger is two years old, she’s going to turn three November 16th this year. I recommend Ginger had a home with a yard. She is pretty active and loves to lay and run in the sun! Ginger is very sweet and she loves pets. She’s a quick learner, and very food motivated. She’s pretty hyper but she’s able to sit down and chill with you once her energy’s out! She requires patience, especially when taking her out, she’s pretty barky with other dogs when she feels unsure. We do take her to dog parks, so she is friendly! She just needs to be reassured, she had a bad encounter with another dog, so she’s a bit hesitant at first, but once she’s comfortable, she’s all good! She is housed trained, potty trained, and knows her basic commands. Like sit, come, down, and paw. I just got her shots updated, around May 20th. She had a very physical exam, which showed she is very healthy!

Story
Jake is a smart, affectionate, smart, good-looking boy - about 5 years old. I am a single woman. I am 82 years old. He is too much dog for me. He reacts to other dogs, although we are in training for that, and I believe with a stronger (likely male) person he would come around fairly quickly. He can pull me over. I weigh 115. He is certainly house-broken and will walk easily with me - sits and lies down pretty much when asked, unless he is greeting a friend (jumps up with enthusiasm) or spots another dog (barks and pulls.) He is a bit fixated on food and will clear the countertops if there is anything to be had. I think he was food-deprived at one time. He was first taken to the Tacoma shelter and fostered from there, and then adopted by the woman I got him from. She worried about her 2 1/2 year old, who, when she had food, would elicit some growling. He is fine at a boarding kennel and the groomers, My trainer thinks he will be fine, but I am not the person to fix his bad habits.
