Story
Indy is a male golden doodle who joined our family when he was 9 weeks old. He is now 2 years old, and weighs 34 pounds. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. Unfortunately, Indy has a lot of anxiety around young children. Their running, shouting, and playing causes him to overreact. We have done a 3 week board and train and are currently doing in home training. Indy is crate trained and loves going in his crate to nap and spends the entire night in there without complaint. He is also cot trained with a “place” command. He loves going on walks and has been trained to not pull on his leash. He loves being around adults, he’s very affectionate and happy at home until school gets out and our children come home. He has never bitten anyone, but he growls at the children when he gets worked up. Indy would thrive in a home with teenage children or no children at all. Despite being sad to say goodbye, we want him to be in a good home where he feels comfortable.

We are open on Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He was rescued from a high-kill shelter in South Korea, where his future was uncertain and time was running out. Despite that rough start, Max is resilient, curious, and ready to experience the life every young dog deserves — one filled with learning, love, and adventure. Still very much a puppy, Max is at an age where training, bonding, and exploration are part of everyday life. He’s eager to grow into a confident companion and is looking for a home that will guide him, engage his clever mind, and include him in family life. &#226&#156&#168 Adoption Information Max’s adoption fee is $1,995, a non-refundable donation that helps support lifesaving rescue efforts.
