Story
Molly is a very sweet and loving family dog. She loves going for walks and is trained on a leash as well as walking off a leash. Since moving from quiet Northern Wisconsin, she has had troubles adjusting to the city life. She used to roam around freely outside and never ran away. She enjoyed sitting outside in the fresh air and sunshine. She would do great with someone who has a large yard. She’s used to children and cats. She enjoys going to the dog park but has a tendency to bark in other dogs faces to get them to play. I think she would be ok with other dogs in a home, however she has jealousy issues. She used to be best friends with our cat, but is now very jealous of any attention he receives. We have been struggling with her going potty outside. Before we moved she never went potty inside. Someone is always home to take her outside, so we believe it is a behavioral issue. She is somewhat kennel trained.

Hi, I'm Diesel! I'm a young guy who's had a bit of a confusing start, and I'm still figuring out the world at my own pace. I came to the shelter because the other dog in my home wasn't comfortable with me-but I actually do like other dogs. In fact, I'd really benefit from having a confident, friendly dog buddy to help show me the ropes in my future home. Right now, I can be pretty timid. New things and busy environments make me uneasy, so I appreciate calm voices and gentle, quiet pets. If you give me time and space, I slowly start to relax and trust-and once I do, my true self starts to peek out. I'm young, playful, and energetic at heart, even if I'm fairly mellow while I'm still settling in. I've lived with children before, but I'd do best with older, respectful kids who understand that sometimes I need a little space. What I really need most is a patient, understanding home that's willing to let me build confidence at my own speed. If you're someone who believes in going slow, celebrating small wins, and helping a shy dog grow into himself, I think we could be a great match.
