Story
Check out our Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok for more pictures & videos of our adoptable dogs!Updated: 1/12/2026 Dog Name: Anakin Sex: Male Estimated Breed: Poodle Mix Approximate Age: 8 months Approximate Weight: 40 lbs Spay/Neuter Status: Neutered Description: Despite his rough start, Anakin is an incredibly fun, happy, and goofy older puppy with a big personality and an even bigger heart! He is full of playful puppy energy and absolutely loves to run. Zoomies are a daily event! He’s very energetic but because he’s still growing, he doesn’t always realize how big he is yet. He’s currently learning not to jump up on people and would do best with older kids or adopters who understand that while he’s not tiny, he is still very much a puppy who’s still learning.   This sweet boy has done wonderfully meeting new people and truly loves everyone he meets. He’s extremely affectionate and craves human connection! Anakin loves to crawl into your lap, give kisses, nuzzle for attention, and be right by your side. Chin scratches, cuddling, walks, and treats are some of his favorite things!   Anakin is incredibly smart and very food motivated, which makes training a breeze! He learned sit, lay down, and place in about five minutes! He is housebroken, working on crate training, and is fantastic on walks when using a front-clip harness.    Anakin would thrive with an active, affectionate family who is ready to continue his training and provide structure, patience, and plenty of adventures! He has so much potential and just wants a family who will love him and continue to guide him in everyday life! Adoption Fee: $650We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. January 13, 2026, 2:42 am

Story
This handsome young man is Rabbit, he is around 2.5 years old and 70 pounds, we believe he is a Golden Doodle.Happy go lucky fella who Loves ALL dogs/puppies he gets to play with, but unfortunatelyNo cats (he has seen some and wants to chase)He is crate trained/house trained but will pee if he gets super excited, (oops nobody is perfect :)All he wants in life is to be petted he will fall over for belly rubs. Runs right up to anyone and throws his paw up it never fails he will do it every time. If you give him the chance he will jump up and quite literally hug people!Loves water and swimming! Would be the perfect hiking buddy he is great on a leash, would rather run than walk but hey he can do both 😉Needs an active home with a fully fenced in yard as he is an active boy! We don't recommend young children as he has some energy. Not a single mean bone in his body, no food aggression at all, doesn’t really care for toys, would rather just stare into your soul while you tell him you love him, then jump on you and give you a hug. :) He’s absolutely obsessed with his crate, will go straight in and doesn’t make a peep. Does great for the groomer. He is now here in WI enjoying all the good times here, he is looking forward to having an amazing life with his new parents and promises to keep you well entertained and loved. An online application can be found at SandiPaws.org for this handsome boyThank you for choosing SandiPaws Rescue. Please visit our site at sandipaws.org to fill out an application to adopt.
