Story
Gentle, friendly, and happy to see anyone: that's Barlow! This long-legged boy came in emaciated, wormy, and full of trash from scavanging the dumpsters just to survive. Severely underweight, Barlow immediately began a slow, gradual feeding regiment to reintroduce his body to real dog food-- small, multiple meals scattered throughout the day, peppered in with occasional crunchy Milkbones for that good boy treat every dog deserves. Barlow isn't at his ideal weight, but he looks exceptional compared to his intake picture (peep in the comments to see how far Barlow has come!) Barlow is a less than one year old Coonhound and Great Dane mix. While he's about 70 pounds, we expect this merle-coated guy to be between 80-100 pounds when he's fully filled out! Barlow would be perfect for a hunting buddy, helping you in the blinds this season to bag that awesome critter. Barlow is still working through food aggression due to his history of starvation, but with patience and proper meals, Barlow would be the perfect pup to be your pal!

He is a really good dog who deserves a loving home. He would do best with a young family or someone who can spend plenty of time with him, because he does not like being left alone for long periods of time. He loves being part of the family, cuddling, and getting lots of attention. He is great with kids and is also crate trained.
