Story
5 year old Great Dane mix. Mother was Great Dane. Father may have been the milk man. The brothers have been together their entire lives. They have had two or three homes before coming to live with me the past two years. They are really good dogs. Loving, friendly, happy, obedient. Rocky is a good pillow, Max is not so much. Both enjoy cuddling on couch. They are great in the kennel all day. They can stay outside all day. They can stay loose inside all day, some household disruptions are expected. They will ring a bell on the door to go out (previous owner taught) or come to get you when they need to go out (my method). Sit, high-five, down, stay, come are all well known. Play dead (or "bang" as we play it) is not their favorite. They eat in separate bowls. Rocky always finishes first and does not go after Max's bowl.. Neither went after my old girl's bowl after they finished. You can take their food bowl while they are eating. I feed Taste of the Wild 1c 2x/day. 3-yr vax.

Story
Meet Beverly – a gentle soul looking for a soft place to land 💜 Beverly is a young Great Dane/Mastiff mix with a heart as big as her paws. While her journey has taken an unexpected turn and she is now considered a hospice dog due to orthopedic challenges and mild vision impairment, Beverly’s spirit remains warm, loving, and deeply connected to the people around her. At just under a year old, Beverly is already a large dog, but her presence is calm and tender rather than overwhelming. She adores human companionship and finds comfort simply being near her people—whether that means resting nearby, leaning in for affection, or quietly following you from room to room. Beverly’s mobility and vision needs mean she’s looking for a patient, compassionate home that can offer a safe, predictable environment and help her navigate the world at her own pace. She does best with gentle handling, soft bedding, and thoughtful support to keep her comfortable. NMDR will provide guidance on her care and ongoing needs. Despite her medical challenges, Beverly’s capacity for love is enormous. She is sweet, social, and emotionally intuitive—grateful for every kind word and gentle touch. Her ideal adopter is someone who understands that hospice dogs aren’t about “fixing,” but about cherishing every moment and giving unconditional love in return. If you have room in your heart and home for a dog who needs comfort, patience, and compassion, Beverly will reward you with quiet devotion and a bond that is truly special.

Story
I'm so excited to meet you!! Will you play fetch with me? I'm a very friendly girl and I love to meet new people! I like to spend a lot of time relaxing and cuddling, but I also love exploring new places and playing games. You won't find a more food motivated pup than me! I'd do just about anything for a treat!! I'd do best in a home as an only dog. General Socialization Notes: I love meeting new people! I am a very sensitive girl so I'd need a gentle touch. I love to cuddle!! I would do best as an only dog. I am very smart and very treat motivated. Does Rosie like other animals? I would prefer to be an only dog and spend time with my humans that way I get all the love! I am not sure about cats so a home without cats would be best. Does Rosie like children? I would love to be in a family with older children, 13 years and older. I'd love to play with them! No small children because I am a bit enthusiastic. Favorite Toys: I love frisbees, balls and Benebones! I am also a master at fetch. My special talent is catching treats in the air. I love that game! Ideal Home: I'd do best in a home where I have lots of space to run and play. I love my zoomies! I'd love a family that will give me lots of attention and training. I enjoy taking hikes and going on adventures. I'm a curious and loyal companion! I would prefer a home as an only dog to get all the love and attention from my humans.

Story
Meet Miss CHULA Chula is a 2½-year-old Cane Corso Mastiff mix and a true gentle giant. She’s as sweet as they come and firmly believes she’s a tiny lap dog trapped in a big, beautiful body. This cuddle-loving girl adores attention, hoarding toys, and hanging out with her “siblings.” She’s currently living peacefully with our two 6-month-old Dutch Shepherd mixes and a Pekingese, and does great with dogs she knows and trusts. Chula did have a rough experience in the past after being attacked by a large dog, which left her a bit anxious around unfamiliar dogs. With slow, patient introductions, she may do well with another calm dog — but she would absolutely thrive as the only pup in a home where she can soak up all the love and feel safe. She’s potty trained, knows her basic commands, and walks well on a leash (though she’s still learning that she doesn’t need to lead the parade). Loyal, affectionate, and endlessly loving, Miss Chula is looking for a home that understands her big heart and will give her the patience she deserves. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will love you with her whole soul — Chula might just be your girl.  If you are interested in adopting, please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.elpasocountycanine.org/adopt ##2564189##
