Story
🐾 Meet Doug, the Great Dane looking for his forever home! 🐾 Doug is a magnificent 4-year-old Great Dane who has stolen our hearts with his gentle nature and playful spirit. Having spent time with him at the dog park, I can confidently say that Doug is a fabulous companion who gets along well with other dogs. He recently spent four days with a small male dog, and there wasn't a single issue – he's a true gentleman. His trips to the vet have been smooth sailing, and he behaves impeccably during visits. While he may occasionally get a bit saucy on walks. Best to always keep him leashed except in controlled environments where he can roam freely. I believe Doug would thrive in a home with a submissive female dog, as he has shown compatibility with Grace, who fits that description perfectly. Doug is not only housebroken but also kennel trained, making him a well-rounded companion for any family. He's also mastered the use of a doggie door, so you won't have to worry about accidents indoors. As he's matured, his penchant for digging has dwindled, and he now prefers playing with toys and enjoying the company of his human friends. Despite being a Great Dane, Doug is on the smaller side, weighing in at 92lbs, which makes him a manageable size for most homes. If you're ready to welcome this gentle giant into your life, Doug is eagerly waiting for his forever family through the Forgotten to Forever Rescue. Don't miss the chance to make Doug a cherished member of your household – he's sure to bring boundless love and joy into your life. Story
Clause isn looking for the perfect family! He has so much love to offer, he just needs to find the right fit to be able to share it. Clause is a happy dog who will win you over with his goofy petsonality. He loves shaking his toys,  chasing balls, and trying to get his foster siblings to play tug. He brings you toys and will hit you with them when he thinks it's time to play. He's a pro at destroying toys and thinks destuffing them is just too much fun. He loves finding the loudest toy in the house if he thinks it's too quiet to help liven up the place.  He has done amazing with every other dog he has met in social settings. He walks decently on a leash and knows sit and leave it.  He is still learning what manners are and likes to push the boundaries when he gets hyper and will jump up. He does get mouthy when he plays,  and has no regard for his size. He does respond well to "ouch" and only gets mouthy now if he gets too riled up. Because of this,  no children under the age of 12 in his forever home. Clause has been fostered with cats who have been patient with him,  but he does chase and tend to put his mouth on them as well so has to be monitored whenever he is with them. He would do best in a home without feline temptation or very tolerant cats.  He does have some separation anxiety that has improved,  but is very much a velcro dog who wants to be with you whenever possible. He can get destructive when left alone even for shorts amount of time, so is kenneled when needed, though he tends to be noisy in his kennel and will try to escape it. He goes in without a fuss, and eats his meals there as well as he has shown some signs of resource guarding.  He would do best in a home where he is not left at home alone often. He doesn't have accidents in the house when let outside on a regular basis. He sleeps at night in bed with his fosters. His ideal family would work from home and have other dog siblings to play with him.  Clause was being given away for free on Craigslist. He was in rough shape,  with skin and ear infections from untreated mange as well as being kept in a waste filled kennel. He stood hunched lacking muscles in his back legs.  He was fed pig feed and smelled so strongly that even after multiple baths, he still could be smelled from over 10 feet away. He had to have a calcified hematoma removed from his side. He's fully recovered from his past and ready to start his future! ##1639799##

This canine comedian is not just a dog; he's a stand-up pupper ready to deliver laughs and tail wags. Chubs is a professional people lover, with a passion for playtime and a flair for stretching his long legs - a true yoga master in the making! He's like a furry sprinter, just waiting for someone to hand him the gold medal in the game of fetch. Now, let's talk manners. Chubs may have a few social faux paws, but fear not! We're working on refining his etiquette because this eager-beaver genuinely wants to be the best good boy. And guess what motivates him? Food! He's not just chasing his tail; he's chasing that tasty treat, making him the most food-motivated fluffball you'll ever meet. So, if you're ready for a daily dose of laughter, a workout companion with long, stretchable limbs, and a charming doggo with a heart of gold, then Chubs is your go-to canine comedian. Story
Roper was running at large in North Texas and found his happy place at a French Bulldog breeder’s property SO if you see some really big FBs you know who the baby daddy is! He got his name because the sheriff roped him to break up the party. Our founder drove him to Colorado and just because of his size, she said people wouldn’t even make eye contact with her at gas stations, especially when she got him out to tinkle. She felt totally safe with him and so happy to have him along for the ride. He is 80-ish pounds and we think Dane and whatever. Roper has since been neutered, is current on vaccines, and has been working with a trainer on general obedience. His best owner would be alpha and keep up his training. This boy is sweet and athletic - watching him run and play is a beautiful thing. Please email dancingdogrescueco@gmail.com for foster or adoption information.

Shelter Visiting Hours are 12 pm to 4 pm Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Please fill out an adoption application at mamcorescue.org or attend one of our Saturday adoption event. Events are held each Saturday from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at our office: 2721 W Oxford Ave., Suite 6 Englewood, CO 80110 *In order to protect our puppies, we do not allow puppies to attend open events until they have a minimum of two vaccinations. Puppies who are available, but not listed on our weekly Facebook event, are considered "deposit only" puppies. These puppies will only attend the event IF they are reserved through a deposit. You can check the list of puppies attending the open event by checking the event: https://www.facebook.com/MAMCORescue  At MAMCO we understand that in order to continue rescuing moms and babies, we must stretch our finances as far as we are able. For this reason we use variable adoption pricing. By assigning higher adoption fees to high demand moms and puppies, we are able to rescue more families in need. The money raised through these adoptions acts as a benefactor to moms and puppies in our care who require expensive veterinary treatments, have behavioral issues, or need more time to find a home. We often reduce the adoption fees on these harder-to-place moms and puppies to help them find forever families. Adoption fees vary. Applications can be filled out at mamcorescue.org. ##1981923##
