Story
5 year old Great Dane mix. Mother was Great Dane. Father may have been the milk man. The brothers have been together their entire lives. They have had two or three homes before coming to live with me the past two years. They are really good dogs. Loving, friendly, happy, obedient. Rocky is a good pillow, Max is not so much. Both enjoy cuddling on couch. They are great in the kennel all day. They can stay outside all day. They can stay loose inside all day, some household disruptions are expected. They will ring a bell on the door to go out (previous owner taught) or come to get you when they need to go out (my method). Sit, high-five, down, stay, come are all well known. Play dead (or "bang" as we play it) is not their favorite. They eat in separate bowls. Rocky always finishes first and does not go after Max's bowl.. Neither went after my old girl's bowl after they finished. You can take their food bowl while they are eating. I feed Taste of the Wild 1c 2x/day. 3-yr vax.

Story
HIGHLIGHTS -Beverly is hospice and will do best with a local, experienced adopter who is willing to tend for her ongoing physical care- Meet Beverly – The Gentle Giant with a Puppy Heart! Introducing Beverly, a stunning 1-year-old Great Dane/Neapolitan Mastiff mix weighing 91.4 pounds of pure potential and love! She’s a beautiful blend of goofy puppy energy and gentle sweetness, ready to find a home where she can continue to blossom. Beverly walks wonderfully on leash and loves her outdoor adventures, though she’s still building confidence with walking through thresholds — she just needs a little patience and encouragement. Like any young pup, she’s curious, playful, and adores her toys. This big-hearted girl thrives around people she knows, showing off her affectionate, goofy side once she feels comfortable. She can be a bit hesitant with new people, especially men, but with time and consistency, she warms up beautifully and shows how loving she truly is. Her food motivation helps her build trust quickly and makes training easy and fun. Beverly has been receiving physical therapy at the rescue and will need continued treatment and support at home. She requires an experienced adopter who can work with her and her behavior, providing patience, guidance, and understanding as she learns confidence. Beverly is looking for a calm, patient home that understands she’s still learning the ropes of the big, exciting world around her. In return, she’ll reward you with loyalty, laughter, and the sweetest snuggles from your gentle giant. If you’re ready to help Beverly grow into the confident, loving dog she’s meant to be, she’s waiting to meet you! ---------- Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog's individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

She gets along well with other dogs and would love a confident companion in her new home. She longs for a couch of her own (we hope yours is a sectional!) and a family to love. Story
Roper was running at large in North Texas and found his happy place at a French Bulldog breeder’s property SO if you see some really big FBs you know who the baby daddy is! He got his name because the sheriff roped him to break up the party. Our founder drove him to Colorado and just because of his size, she said people wouldn’t even make eye contact with her at gas stations, especially when she got him out to tinkle. She felt totally safe with him and so happy to have him along for the ride. He is 80-ish pounds and we think Dane and whatever. Roper has since been neutered, is current on vaccines, and has been working with a trainer on general obedience. His best owner would be alpha and keep up his training. This boy is sweet and athletic - watching him run and play is a beautiful thing. Please email dancingdogrescueco@gmail.com for foster or adoption information.

Story
Angle is a 4.5 Year Old Great Dane/Smooth Coated Collie Mix. She loves playing with other dogs and ignores cats, unless they want to play. She loves her people and even though she loves playing with other dogs, she really wants her human all to herself. She is also laid back and enjoys a good cuddle and chill on the couch while catching up on some TV. Angle is crate trained, enjoys toys and completely untrustworthy on free roam with high interest items (this includes expensive items; we don’t know how she knows – but she does!) If you think you are Angle's forever home, please complete an adoption application at https://www.savethegiants.com/adoption-process .
