Spot is a sweet and adorable 6 year old Great Dane that was transferred from a rescue in Central Florida this week that has closed it's doors, and is now with our rescue, Anything’s Pawsible Rescue, that's based in Miami. He is a big, fun, playful boy who weighs 68.0 lbs and is healthy, vaccinated, neutered, and yearning for his forever loving home. He's a very intuitive soul. If his person is happy, he is happy. If his person is sad, he is sad. He doesn't deserve to spend a moment of his life, sitting in boarding, waiting for someone to open up their hearts and homes to foster, and even better yet, to adopt! She’s a calm, observant girl who approaches the world with quiet curiosity and growing confidence. While initially shy in new environments, Monroe warms up beautifully with time and patience. Once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly affectionate—leaning in for soft pets, resting her head in your lap, and quietly following you from room to room just to be close. They spent some time in a foster home until space became available at Big Dog Ranch Rescue, giving them a safe and loving environment to grow and thrive. These pups are all dog-friendly, happy, and even enjoy the company of cats! They didn’t have a choice in where they ended up, but Big Dog Ranch heard their call for help and stepped in to give them a second chance. Meet Eliza, a 5-year-old Great Dane who came to Big Dog Ranch after being rescued from a Missouri puppy mill. She’s had very limited positive human interaction in her early life and is still learning to trust people. Because of this, Eliza is a fearful dog and will need plenty of time, patience, and consistency to feel safe. She’s looking for a quiet, adult-only home with an experienced adopter who understands large, sensitive breeds—especially dogs who need space and time to build confidence. While Eliza is not currently cuddly or affectionate, she may begin to form bonds slowly once she feels secure. For now, she’s more comfortable keeping her distance and observing quietly. Eliza has a low energy level and prefers calm, predictable routines. She is good with other respectful, low-key dogs, which can help her feel more at ease in a home. She is also housetrained, which will help her adjust more smoothly once in a stable environment. Because of her fearfulness, she is a flight risk and requires a securely fenced yard and close supervision during transitions and outdoor time. She’s not suited for a busy or noisy household, and she is not comfortable around children. She’ll thrive with someone who can provide structure, move at her pace, and let her settle in on her own terms.
