MY ADOPTION FEE IS NOW FULLY SPONSORED THANKS TO A GENEROUS DONOR! Hi my name is Maya! I appear to be a Great Dane (maybe mix?) estimated at 2-3 years old and last weighed in at just over 80 lbs. I landed at the county shelter with my lookalike Mia - we were scared, but then Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue took us under their wing. There I received the general and medical care I needed to be ready for a forever home! I also attended a training program at The Dog Wizard and have continued support included in that program if I need to brush up on anything or any behaviors crop up that my new family wants to work with me on! I've been friendly with all of the humans and doggos that I've met so far.My $350 adoption fee includes vet exam, up to date vaccines, spay, deworming, microchip, heartworm test (negative) and preventatives while in the rescue's care. This is one of the hardest decisions we’ve had to make, but due to life changes, working more and traveling often, we’re no longer able to give him the time and consistency he deserves. He is a Lab / Great Dane / Weimaraner mix with a very loving, affectionate personality. He truly enjoys being close to his people and is great with other dogs. A few things to note: he does have occasional accidents in the house and can be a bit of a snack thief if food is left out. With the right routine and attention, we believe he will continue to thrive. We’ve had him since he was a puppy, his birthday is 6/1/2021. Our biggest hope is to find him a safe, loving home where he’ll be cherished as much as he is now. If possible, we would love to stay in touch with updates and maybe even visit him occasionally, it would mean so much to us to know he’s happy and doing well. Haze is a beautiful Great Dane who absolutely loves being outside, going for car rides, and being near her people. She’s goofy, affectionate, and has a big personality once she’s comfortable. She would thrive in a calm home with space to roam and someone experienced with large dogs. She is not being rehomed lightly. We love her very much, but we’re trying to make the best decision for her and our family. Great Danes are rather for people with experience with them.Tango was born 7/19/24. Very loving and clingy. He loves walks in the park, fetching balls and rides on the truck bed (he doesn’t pull the leash)Very playful and full of energy, he does great with other dogs. He is a small Great Dane, 103 lbs, it won’t grow much more than that, probably 110-115 top. The only dog that stops eating when is full 🤷🏻‍♂️. His mom is 130lbs and dad 150lbs. He is the smallest of the litter.He needs the company of kids or another dog to play with, needs a yard to run, he won’t be a good fit for an apartment. He’s friend is not longer with us and I can’t give him the time that he needs to expend all that energy and he’s getting bored.He’s on the timid side and he’s scared of balloons.I bought him when he was 4 months old, so I don’t know where or how that trauma started. Nothing crazy, he’s going to stay as far as he can from those mean balloons 🎈Vet recommended to get him neutered after he turns 2
