Story
Judy is a 1.5-year-old black and white Great Dane. She still has a lot of puppy in her and loves to run around the yard, play with her toys, and interact with other dogs. She loves attention and will monopolize it. She has never shown aggression to our cats or children, but does need to be reminded of her size when playing often. She is trained in the basic commands (sit, wait, drop it) and knows the command "go home" to return to her crate. She is fully house-trained and has learned to use bells to let you know she needs to go outside, but may need a reminder of how that works. She is a very loving and sweet girl who gets very upset when she knows she has done something to upset you. When left alone for too long, she is destructive in the form of digging and chewing. We are looking for a home that can provide a lot of space for her to run around and will have the capacity to give the attention she craves. The rehoming fee includes her crate, cot, and remaining heartworm medication.

Story
Andre's special needs is that he is very underweight for his breed + age, he has been gaining weight with us, but it is still something to keep in mind that he will need some work. Andre came to us as part of a dump situation, where he was smaller than he is now and hardly able to stand and walk, after being with us and getting started on a weight gain program and some medical care, he has been slowly but steadily gaining weight and his personality has exploded alongside his weight gain! He is very goofy, affectionate, and if you ask him he is the size of your lap so why are you complaining about being crushed? We would love to see him go to a good home that can help him get to where he needs to be weight wise!

Story
Ernest is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. This sweet Great Dane is currently in a foster home and has been nothing short of wonderful. He gets along well with the resident dog and is peacefully coexisting with cats, even if they still surprise him a bit—he simply chooses to give them space. He loves meeting new people, soaking up affection, and then settling in for a good nap. He’s also incredibly smart and does a great job communicating his needs to his humans. He enjoys going for walks and is gaining strength every day. Ernest is house trained, but like many senior pups, when he needs to go, he needs to go—so quick potty breaks (especially in the early morning or late at night) will help him succeed. Ernest is looking for a soft landing—a calm, loving home where he can enjoy his golden years surrounded by kindness. If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion who will reward you with gentle affection and soulful eyes, Ernest just might be your perfect match. Put in an application to meet him today!
