Who doesn`t love the big boys? Meet 5yr old Great Dane/Lab mix Tank! Tank is somewhere around 100+lbs, it was rather hard to get his whole body on the scale. Tank is an absolutely wonderful boy! Doesn`t do too terrible on leash, just a puller once you first start as he`s so excited. Tank does well with other dogs and even is amazing with kids! He would prefer to be in a home without cats. Tank is both food motivated and toy motivated. The most dangerous part of this guy is his tail! Just never stops wagging. Adoption fee is $200 plus tax. Dogs up for adoption at the Hawk Creek Animal Shelter are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested negative (if age appropriate), given initial vaccinations (a booster may be needed), given flea, tick and heartworm preventative, & dewormed. This beautiful, well-mannered 4-year-old girl has worked so hard with her trainer and has become an absolute leash-walking champ! She’s fully muzzle-conditioned and happy to wear it! Sasha has never shown any people aggression, but she does have a strong prey drive—so she’ll need to wear her muzzle anytime she’s outside for the safety of our small dog friends and any other small critters in your neighborhood. We’d love to see her future home have a tall privacy fence where she can safely enjoy regular off-leash time without her muzzle. She’s affectionate, loyal, and loves being close to her people—whether it’s relaxing after a long day or joining you on adventures. Sasha does well with other dogs with slow introductions. This sweet girl is gentle with her toys, easy to bathe, and full of love to give.
