Pan is currently living his best life in a foster home, enjoying comfort, routine, and plenty of love while he waits for his forever family to find him.Pan is a smart, well-mannered companion who is fully house-trained and does great free-roaming when left alone. He knows an impressive list of tricks, including sit, down, shake, and even balancing treats on his nose—he loves showing off for a little attention (or a tasty reward!).Pan is hoping for a calmer, adults-only home where he can feel relaxed and confident.According to his previous owner, Pan is playful and full of life when it’s time for fun, but he’s just as happy to settle in and unwind when the day winds down. He’s the perfect mix of active and mellow, always ready to go with the flow. Story
Giovanni and his siblings were left near a field in rural Missouri. Luckily some good Samaritans spotted them and were able to get 3 of the 4 caught. We worked with volunteer dog trappers to get the last pup caught. These boys are thin and most of them have eye issues. They will be heading to our vet in gladstone for treatment. We are looking desperately for foster homes for each of these pups. They need separated from each other, they need regular feedings, and some tlc as they heal from their surgery. Medical expenses are paid for and we use Animal Clinic of the Woodlands in Gladstone...so foster/adoptive home MUST be able to pick up and drop off their pup at that vet as needed. These boys are TALL and all gangly legged. We aren't sure if they have bloodhound/lab or dane/hound/lab...but these are BIG BOYS. Please reach out to us if you can foster or are interested in adopting one. Giovanni is coming out of his shell and loves petting. He's still unsure around other dogs, but he's learning the other dogs just want to play and have fun. At Autumn Acres Animal Rescue we believe each individual animal matters. We take in special cases some of which will stay with us as a sanctuary dog.If the animal is listed as a Socially Imperfect Dog this means they have special needs and special requirements for potential adopters.If the animal is listed as a Socially Imperfect RESIDENT this animal is NOT available for adoption and is one of our sanctuary residents. Meet Frankie. Old Blue Eyes. What a guy! He is our newest foster who needs a loving family to grow and thrive in. Frankie is a special 6-month-old 35 lbs. Catahoula lab mix. Yes, they are all special in my heart, but he is extra special, as he is deaf. This does require a new way to train, but he is up to the task if you are! We are working with hand signals, and he also watches the pack. Frankie would do well with a 4-legged playmate to grow and learn from. His potty training is going well, not many accidents at all. He rides in the car wonderfully. He sleeps through the night cuddled in. He does stand back and assess the situation before jumping in. He is overall just a wonderful guy. Now let’s find him his furever home! Frankie is just an absolute love bug. If you have the time and love to give, you can apply to adopt this little man at lucky13rescue.org. Frankie's adoption fee is $275 and includes age appropriate vaccinations, dewormer, heartworm medication, microchip and neuter surgery.

Meet Brooks! Hi, I’m Brooks, a chill, soft-hearted female with a soft fur coat to match. I’m playful when the mood strikes, smart enough to know what’s going on, and loving enough to make sure you never forget how much I adore you. Basically, I’m the whole package, with four legs and a wagging tail! I’m currently working on this whole “house rules” thing because it seems to make my people happy. I’m an excellent sleeper, because beauty rest is important when you’re this adorable. I’m friendly with people, dogs, and cats.
