Meet Mr. Bruce!Mr. Bruce is a super large, super handsome Great Dane/St. Bernard mix that was recently surrendered into our care through no fault of his own. Bruce is still settling in here at FDHS, but aside from his stature, he’s already making a BIG impression and has quickly become a staff favorite. We were told that Bruce previously lived as a family dog and has done well with children and other animals. Although he’s typically very friendly and docile with everyone he meets, Bruce can be a little uneasy around new men. Bruce is generally very well-mannered. He walks nicely on leash, keeps a clean kennel, and doesn’t get too bothered by his more "enthusiastic" canine neighbors. This big hunk of handsome would likely do well in just about any type of home environment. Oh. Almost forgot. One important little detail about Bruce…he’s an escape artist. This guy can hop fences and bust through doors like the Kool-Aid Man, so he’ll need a home that can safely supervise his outdoor adventures. Bruce is really a good boy and we know his perfect match is out there!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention**

Purebred Great Dane puppy. Born 2-26-26 33 lbs Adult weight 120 Lbs ish. Black in Color. Nice boy who gets along with cats, kids and other dogs. Doesn’t cause any problems here. Has some leash skills and quiet in a crate. Happy boy who was well Socialized. Why do I have him? Released from a breeder because he had a skin infection and became Older and never got a home. Our vet says he has skin infection and was treated with Injectible antibiotic. See pic. His hair is thin on his ears and patchy on his back. No he is Not itching and has no care in the world about it. Just take some time and it will Grow back. Breeder did have him On wood chips and he might of just been sensitive to that. We are taking care of it Crate trained and doggy door trained. All vet paperwork goes home. Vet care. Neutered. Yes neutered. Parvo distemper vac. Rabies. Frontlined and 30 days heart worm prev will go home with him. Clean fecal. All good now! I got Lila when she was 3 months old, she is now 1 year and 4 months old. She is a very loving doggo who loves playing. She is a chewer so she needs lots of things to chew on. Her all time favorite though are plush toys that she can pull the stuffing out of. She was well trained at one point but just needs some TLC to get back up to snuff. She is apprehensive around dogs but ultimately wants to play once comfortable. I am looking for a better home for her. Going through a divorce and i feel really bad leaving her home with nobody for half a day while I'm at work. Ideally she would have someone around most of the time, she has got a bit of separation anxiety. Which is probably because my work schedule so she may out grow it with proper routine. Shes a great dog and has so much potential.
