Zero is a 7-month-old male Great Dane/German Shepherd Dog mix who is in need of someone who is in need of a puppy that is as large as a small pony. Okay, maybe not that large, but at only 7 months, our Zero weighs in at 63 pounds and growing....for another year or so at least. This sweet boy could be anywhere from 80-120 pounds at the end of it all - just guesses at this point!Regardless of size, our puppy boy is as sweet as they come! He loves everyone, loves toys, loves treats, loves to eat, loves to stare at you, loves to be dramatic (this kid could be a stage actor 100%), loves to snuggle, hates to be away from his people. Unfailingly friendly, exuberant and bouncy. Everything anyone could want in an extra-large pup! Zero was found as a stray in another county and was never claimed. He holds no sort of grudge with anyone for being abandoned. His life is too much about fun to worry about holding grudges! He seems to be dog friendly, would probably do well with kids who are slightly older (7 and up is best), is completely unknown with cats but could potentially learn that they aren`t to be messed with, and thinks all people are beautiful. We have no real history on Zero so we assume that he will need house training and crate training work in his new home. Remember, he may be large, but this boy is seriously just a baby - 7 months is still just learning about life! While it might seem odd treating the big pony sized lug as a baby, that`s just what he is! He will need continued socialization and would do best in a home that is willing to take him to obedience classes to learn the ropes. Let`s face it - this is going to be a big dog who will likely have a mind of his own - obedience at an earlier age is the best idea for him and for his family. He knows how to walk (bounce) on a leash and gets better all of the time BUT would be even better with a few formal lessons under his belt. If you are used to slightly jumbo-sized puppies who may potentially turn into super-sized adults, Zero might be right up your alley! We are currently accepting applications on him in anticipation of his availability.
