LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY.Video here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1ZKqnaG9dD/Mr Scooby His life has been one of text book tragedy in my opinionWe’ve done our best to make his life comfortable in rescue but it is a life inside an intake facility.Five years of teaching him that it isn’t cool the crawl all over a human and try to kiss their face with an open mouth and over sized hugs. His love was so much that it was almost like an aggressive love me situation. Now i have concluded he is and has been reformed. He’s a happy gentleman with that calm Dane state of mind It makes me sad knowing he’s been in rescue for five years He is so loving and so eager to just have a chance at a normal life.If you are looking at a Dane for adoption you already should know how kind and gentle they are.LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY IN TN.The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
Stella is a beautiful four-year-old girl with a loving heart and a playful spirit. This sweet soul came into rescue when her family had to move unexpectedly and couldn’t take her along. For a time, Stella lived alone with only brief visits for food and potty breaks, and she lost quite a bit of weight. She’s still working on gaining back her girlish figure, along with her confidence. Despite it all, Stella remains easygoing and affectionate and she love giving kisses to her favorite people! About Stella: * Recently spayed (she still needs a little more time to heal before she's ready for adoption) * Crate trained and potty trained * Rides fabulously in the car * When her fosters are away, she does wonderfully with access to a gated area in her foster home * Gets along nicely with her Great Dane foster sister (Stella appears to be more submissive than dominant) * Energetic and loves to be where the action is * Very aware of new or unfamiliar noises * Enjoys chasing bunnies and squirrels * Fast eater with a healthy appetite  Stella can be a bit skittish at first, especially in new situations. Still, after just a few weeks in her foster home she has already grown more comfortable and confident. She will thrive with a patient family who can continue building her confidence and helping her feel secure. We’re not yet sure how she does with cats. Because she seems to enjoy chasing small critters, a home without cats may be best until more is known. Stella is truly a looker, and once she’s fully healed and ready for her fresh start, this sweetheart won’t be available for long. She deserves a home where she’ll never feel alone again — one filled with love, stability, and plenty of adventure.

Story
Thinking about adding a new dog to your family but aren’t ready to commit to a lifetime of bending down to pet him? Need a living reminder that the kitchen counter is no place for your dinner leftovers? Ever wonder if the time you spend in the bathroom might be more enjoyable with canine supervision? If you answered yes to any of these questions - or even if you didn’t 😉 - meet Ruckus, the wonder puppy! This awesome guy is seven months old, all Great Dane (all the time!), and he’s looking for his forever home. Ruckus enjoys running, playing, high-speed zoomies, snuggling, and eating just about anything he finds. He’s a super sweet puppy that truly believes he belongs wherever you are — couch, kitchen, bed, yard, shower… you name it. Ruckus wants nothing more than to be with his people. This adorable love bug has a heart that’s as big as his appetite. He’s overcome a lot so far in his life - hunger, uncertainty, and fear dominated his first few months. Ruckus still needs some extra help and guidance from his people in overcoming some old habits, like deciding what is and isn’t good for him to eat. He’s still a growing pup and needs people he can lean on - literally and figuratively - that will look out for him as he gets bigger… and bigger… and bigger… Ruckus might be a bit shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s the life of the party. He has a ton of energy and needs an active home that can keep up with his on the go nature. Ruckus gets along great with other dogs and would love a home with a canine playmate. He’ll also need a physical fence to safely contain all that goofiness—sometimes he gets so caught up in the fun that he forgets where the party ends. Ruckus is crate trained, potty trained, and knows basic commands. He’s ready and waiting to be your new best friend!
