Story
Meet Brutus. He's a one year old, 60lb Great Dane mix. Brutus love's cuddling. He likes to keep a strict bedtime of 10pm. And if you ask him "Who's a good Boy?", he will give you kisses, even if it's the middle of the night. Brutus is potty trained, knows sit, lay down, go to bed, cookies, off and enough and takes treats gently. He loves playing tug of war, chewing bones and sweet potatoes. Brutus also enjoys baths, running, playing and car rides. He is a little leery of men at first and sometimes gets separation anxiety, but who doesn't. Brutus gets along with other dogs and he hasn't been around kids.

Story
I got Lila when she was 3 months old, she is now 1 year and 4 months old. She is a very loving doggo who loves playing. She is a chewer so she needs lots of things to chew on. Her all time favorite though are plush toys that she can pull the stuffing out of. She was well trained at one point but just needs some TLC to get back up to snuff. She is apprehensive around dogs but ultimately wants to play once comfortable. I am looking for a better home for her. Going through a divorce and i feel really bad leaving her home with nobody for half a day while I'm at work. Ideally she would have someone around most of the time, she has got a bit of separation anxiety. Which is probably because my work schedule so she may out grow it with proper routine. Shes a great dog and has so much potential.

LOCAL TN ADOPTION ONLY.Video here: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1ZKqnaG9dD/Mr Scooby His life has been one of text book tragedy in my opinionWe’ve done our best to make his life comfortable in rescue but it is a life inside an intake facility.Five years of teaching him that it isn’t cool the crawl all over a human and try to kiss their face with an open mouth and over sized hugs. His love was so much that it was almost like an aggressive love me situation. Now i have concluded he is and has been reformed. He’s a happy gentleman with that calm Dane state of mind It makes me sad knowing he’s been in rescue for five years He is so loving and so eager to just have a chance at a normal life.If you are looking at a Dane for adoption you already should know how kind and gentle they are.LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY IN TN.The Adoption Fee Includes Age-Appropriate Vaccinations (DA2PPV, Bordetella, Rabies), Deworming, Spay/Neuter, Microchip, Flea, Tick and Heartworm Treatment and Prevention, and Sheltering. Story
At just five months old, Rhythm is a Great Dane puppy with oversized paws, a larger-than-life personality, and plenty to say about everything. This handsome boy is a full-time sassy pants who isn’t afraid to use his voice—when Rhythm has an opinion, chances are you’re going to hear it! 😆 He’s already potty trained, crate trained, and is an excellent car rider, making him a great companion for adventures big and small. Smart and eager to learn, Rhythm is still very much a puppy. He’s working on figuring out where the boundaries are and he’s definitely not afraid to test them. Rhythm needs a patient adopter who understands puppy behavior and will set clear, consistent limits. Though his adorable eyes and rascally antics can be hard to resist, Rhythm needs structure and predictable outcomes to help him continue to grow into the amazing adult dog he’s meant to be. Rhythm is playful, full of character, and loves to be the center of attention. So far in his life, he’s spent his days entertaining humans and animals alike, including kids, other dogs and even a fun-loving cat! When he’s not busy being the star of the show, Rhythm loves to plop himself on the lap of his favorite person for some serious snuggle time. He’s looking for a home that’s full of love, committed to continued training, and is ready to embrace all the fun, laughs, and occasional big time attitude that come with raising a young Dane. This boy is equal parts charm, confidence, comedy, and companionship.

Story
Roman is a handsome black Great Dane male. Roman is a sweet boy with the most soulful eyes you have ever seen! He is a gentle boy who attaches quickly to people. Roman enjoys quiet walks with his foster parents and helping out around the house. Walks are getting better w practice on a leash. Roman has a few quirks that he needs his potential adopters to be aware of. - he has bloated, his stomach has been tacked but in situations of high stress he is a bloat risk and will need to be monitored throughout his life - Roman has shown some food and resource guarding with other dogs. He will need to be fed separately from other dogs in the home and any high value food items like treats will need to be fed with dogs separated - Roman is a bit unsure of life and how to live like a "normal" dog. He seeks the guidance of the adult in his life and will need a calm, strong, experienced giant breed owner to help him figure all of this out (rescue experience preferred) - Roman is good with other dogs but is still figuring out how to play, he does best with confident, female dogs - Roman needs SLOW socialization and exposure to new things once he has built trust with his adopter. Our obedience requirement will be critical to Roman's success If you think you could be Roman's perfect family, please read more about adoption and submit an application at www.greatdanerescueinc.com/adopt
