Archie 7/11/2018 F1 Great Dane/Poodle Approx 125lbs Archie was born in Gainesville, FL and brought to Toledo on November 19, 2018. He's lived with 2 other dogs over the years, both females. He's still very active and loves to run, however, he'll also lay around all day too. He loves his human sister, 13 years old, and sleeps next to her on her floor through most nights. He's a big boy, who loves to be pet, and is looking for a place with a lot of space for him to play and parents who can give him the time he deserves.

Meet Brutus. He's a one year old, 60lb Great Dane mix. Brutus love's cuddling. He likes to keep a strict bedtime of 10pm. And if you ask him "Who's a good Boy?", he will give you kisses, even if it's the middle of the night. Brutus is potty trained, knows sit, lay down, go to bed, cookies, off and enough and takes treats gently. He loves playing tug of war, chewing bones and sweet potatoes. Brutus also enjoys baths, running, playing and car rides. He is a little leery of men at first and sometimes gets separation anxiety, but who doesn't. Brutus gets along with other dogs and he hasn't been around kids.

Calling all Dane lovers! Toby is a super new and cute face around the FDHS kennels, and something tells us this gentle giant won’t be here long. He was recently surrendered through no fault of his own and has all of us here wrapped around his massive paw!Toby is a big, friendly guy who loves people. All people. He’s the type of guy who waltzes into a room like he’s been invited, even if he hasn’t… and sometimes forgets just how large he is while doing it. If you’re into oversized lap dogs, he’s already got the job. He’s lived with other dogs before and did well, and we were told he was curious about outdoor cats but never chased them. He also LOVES car rides and is always up for tagging along on whatever adventure you’ve got planned.Now, let’s be honest, Toby is a lot of dog. He’s very strong on leash and will need someone who can confidently handle him. He’s also a bit of a fence climber, so outdoor time will need to be supervised and secure.The good news? Toby has excellent recall and responds really well to tone of voice. He wants to listen, he just needs someone who can keep up with him and help guide all that big-dog energy in the right direction.If you’ve got experience with large breeds and a soft spot for a goofy, lovable giant, Toby is single and searching. He’s ready to find a home that can match his size, his energy, and his big personality!**Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines & monthly prevention.
