Story

Dane is a stunning blue merle great dane mix. He is about 8 months old and great with dogs of all sizes and with cats. He was rescued from a small rural shelter where he was slated to be euthanized due to time and space. He is a chill dude who likes to nap, go on walks and hang with his friends. He is currently still in Oklahoma where he was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take him in or he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Roman is a handsome one year old black Great Dane male. He is still very much a puppy with a puppy brain. Roman is a sweet boy with the most soulful eyes you have ever seen! He is a gentle boy who attaches quickly to people. Roman enjoys quiet walks with his foster parents and helping out around the house. Walks are getting better w practice on a leash. Roman has a few quirks that he needs his potential adopters to be aware of. - he has bloated, his stomach has been tacked but in situations of high stress he is a bloat risk and will need to be monitored throughout his life - Roman has shown some food and resource guarding with other dogs. He will need to be fed separately from other dogs in the home and any high value food items like treats will need to be fed with dogs separated - Roman is a bit unsure of life and how to live like a "normal" dog. He seeks the guidance of the adult in his life and will need a calm, strong, experienced giant breed owner to help him figure all of this out (rescue experience preferred) - Roman is good with other dogs but is still figuring out how to play, he does best with confident, female dogs - Roman needs SLOW socialization and exposure to new things once he has built trust with his adopter. Molly Grace-"Molly Moose" is doing great in foster care. She totally reliable when left alone. Does like to know though where you are. She wants to be with her people! She loves other dogs, people, children! She has an affectionate and playful personality and prefers woman over men but she will approach men after being reassured. She loves to rub her head on the foster's mom face in a gentle manner! Came from a home with children! She enjoys sleeping with you and being as close as possible. Very well behaved dog! Knows sit, back, down commands, still working on leash skills. Kind of picky with food, and foster home is working with her to gain weight. Would be a great family pet! She is listening well to commands. Does not need to be crated. Playful with toys, loves car rides, and is working on leash training. She would love to find her forever family and to sleep with her people, and is great with kids! She can be in a house with other dogs!
