Story
Champ is a big sweetheart. He has been with HOT-PAWS since 2021. He was part of our No Dog Left Behind program as he arrived Heartworm positive, but was negative at last test. His last Pro-Heart 12 was in August 2024. This boy currently is housed with a female dog and they get along well. He seems good with most other dogs. He has been around older kids and would probably enjoy smaller ones, but may knock smaller ones over. He is not good with cats. Champ loves to play and walks well on a leash. He crates okay, but is not fond of being cooped up. He prefers a bit of running room if possible. and loves attention from his person. Champ requires a secure fence, and can be prone to digging at times, mainly to make a nest for himself to lay in and not to escape.

Story
Meet Zilla!Zilla is a gorgeous 7 year old Great Dane Mix, who weighs 77 pounds, is spayed and current with all her vaccines. She is the perfect companion for anyone looking for a loving furry friend. Zilla is past the puppy terrors and loves chilling or cuddling with people of all ages. She is crate trained, but doesn`t really ever need to be crated. She is potty trained and knows how to use a doggie door. She does have a little separation anxiety at times, because she loves being around people so much. She loves going for walks or hikes, whatever you want to do she is game. She is also a movie buff and loves snuggling up on the couch with a good film. Or, if you prefer a more relaxed vibe, She can people-watch from a patio while you sip a glass of wine. Whatever your preferences, She`s happy to be your furry sidekick. She is also friendly with other dogs when introduced properly, but unfortunately, Zilla is NOT a cat person. To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquires but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Location: Dallas, TX (needs adopter within 2-3 hours of DFW) DOB: 7/22/2015 (estimate) Penni, is a beautiful foster Great Dane and is 10.5 years young, but don’t let that number fool you—she’s still got plenty of sparkle left. She’s the perfect blend of laid-back couch potato and sunshine-loving goofball. Movie marathons? Her favorite. Sunbathing in the yard? Absolute bliss. A little romping around when the mood strikes? Yep, still got it. She is a true Velcro Dane—always by your side, quietly keeping watch, making sure her person is safe and loved. If you’ve ever wanted a gentle, devoted bodyguard who leans more into cuddles than chaos, she’s your girl. She’d thrive in a calmer, homebody-style home, ideally with someone who enjoys being around most of the time, as she’s not a big fan of being alone. Other furry siblings would be a joy—she’d love the companionship and playtime. If you’re looking for a loyal soul to share your couch, your sunshine, and your heart, this sweet girl might be exactly who you’ve been waiting for. https://forms.gle/G2dJx2NV4JXZcZ9F6

Story
529 days without a forever home. 529 days ago Razoo came into the shelter as a stray and he’s been looking for his place in this world ever since. He survived the streets. He survived the euthanasia list. He survived heartworm treatment. He’s learned what it’s like to live inside a home and that there are good humans out there who won’t hurt him. Now he just needs HIS human to find him🖤. ————————————————————— Razoo is 3 years old, 80 pounds, neutered, fully-vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained, and been treated for heartworms. He has done well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves his person (he will show you how much he loves you by wrapping his long arms around your entire body). When he came into the shelter he was terrified of being leashed. His foster has been dedicated to his training and desensitizing him to collars, leashes, etc. He has made leaps and bounds in his progress and he happily wore a bow tie for his photo shoot and gladly accepted head scratches from the photographer. He is adored by his foster and by everyone who meets him. He’s the epitome of rescue rehabilitation and deserves his happy ending! Please share to help Razoo find his forever home! Fort Worth, Texas area. If you have questions or are interested in meeting Razoo, contact us today!
