Story
529 days without a forever home. 529 days ago Razoo came into the shelter as a stray and he’s been looking for his place in this world ever since. He survived the streets. He survived the euthanasia list. He survived heartworm treatment. He’s learned what it’s like to live inside a home and that there are good humans out there who won’t hurt him. Now he just needs HIS human to find him🖤. ————————————————————— Razoo is 3 years old, 80 pounds, neutered, fully-vaccinated, microchipped, house-trained, crate-trained, and been treated for heartworms. He has done well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves his person (he will show you how much he loves you by wrapping his long arms around your entire body). When he came into the shelter he was terrified of being leashed. His foster has been dedicated to his training and desensitizing him to collars, leashes, etc. He has made leaps and bounds in his progress and he happily wore a bow tie for his photo shoot and gladly accepted head scratches from the photographer. He is adored by his foster and by everyone who meets him. He’s the epitome of rescue rehabilitation and deserves his happy ending! Please share to help Razoo find his forever home! Story
Location: Terrell, TX (adoptable within 3 hours of Dallas/Fort Worth) DOB: 3/15/2025 Reacher is a 1½-year-old Great Dane who is basically 100 pounds of puppy brain, zoomies, play bows, and LOVE. 😂❤️ This boy is the ultimate social butterfly. He LOVES other dogs and meeting new people. His goofy play bows can get just about anybody playing, and he’s always down for tug, fetch, wrestling, zoomies, or whatever new toy you hand him. He’s also a total Velcro Dane lover boy. Reacher loves to lean, put his head over your shoulder for hugs, check in for pets, and—if you allow it—climb right into your lap. 😂 He loves being with his people but can also happily entertain himself with toys. And he’s SMART! ✔️ Potty trained ✔️ Kennel trained ✔️ Sit ✔️ Down ✔️ Shake ✔️ Come ✔️ Leave it ✔️ Wait ✔️ VERY food motivated Does he listen every single time? About 85%. We blame the other 15% on puppy brain. 🤣 Reacher is still working on some young-Dane manners. He gets VERY excited and may jump up—or occasionally give you his signature Great Dane chest punch. 😬😂 He’ll counter surf if given the opportunity, and we’re still improving leash manners, door darting, jumping, and learning exactly what is appropriate to chew. He is not currently trusted loose in the house unsupervised and is kenneled when no one is home, but he’s learning boundaries quickly and continues to improve. 🏡 Reacher’s ideal home Reacher would thrive with someone who actually enjoys a big, playful, energetic dog and is willing to continue the training he’s already started. He needs a family who understands that at 1½ years old, there is still plenty of puppy inside that giant body. A playful dog sibling would be a HUGE bonus for this social butterfly. 🐾 He’d also love people who will play with him, keep him active, continue reinforcing his manners—and then let him turn into a giant cuddle bug when the zoomies finally wear off. Reacher isn’t a perfectly polished adult Dane. Yet. He’s a goofy, affectionate, ridiculously dog-friendly young Dane who is learning fast and has SO much potential. And if you’ve always wanted a Great Dane who thinks hugs, leaning and sitting in your lap are basic human rights…Reacher might be your boy. ❤️🐾 https://forms.gle/G2dJx2NV4JXZcZ9F6

DOB: 3/2/2021 Needs FOSTER within 3-4 hours of Dallas/Fort Worth This is for a FOSTER only; she is not ready for adoption. If interested in fostering, please fill out our application (link below). If you become a Hearty Paws foster, all medical expenses will be covered until adoption. As a foster, you get the first chance to adopt Molly if she’s a good fit with your family. Please read for more information about Molly: Molly is a big girl with an even bigger heart! ❤️ At 5 years old and 110 pounds, this beautiful girl is looking for a foster home where she can settle in, decompress, and show us what makes her so special. Molly is VERY human-friendly, including with children. She loves being around her people and is the kind of girl who is happiest when she knows she is part of the family. She also enjoys car rides and absolutely loves finding a sunny spot outside to stretch out and soak up some rays. ☀️ She has some wonderful house manners, too! Molly is house trained, crate trained, and leash trained, and she walks using a harness. She can be trusted loose in the house when left alone, although she does exceptionally well in her crate. Her crate can even go with her to her foster home! Just don't leave blankets in there—Molly thinks those are apparently chew toys. 😂 🐶 DOGS: Molly currently barks when meeting new dogs, but she settles down. She will need SLOW introductions, proper decompression, and a foster who understands that first impressions aren't everything. She should not be rushed into interactions with other dogs. 🐱 CATS: Molly currently lives with cats, but she is selective about them. 👧 CHILDREN: Very human-friendly, including children. 🏡 HOUSE TRAINED: Yes! 🛏️ CRATE TRAINED: Yes! 🚶‍♀️ LEASH TRAINED: Yes — uses a harness 🚗 CAR RIDES: Loves them! ☀️ FAVORITE HOBBY: Sunbathing 🧸 KENNEL NOTE: Blankets don't stand a chance. 😂 ❤️ What Molly Needs Molly needs a foster who can give her time to decompress, patience with introductions, structure, and a whole lot of love. She doesn't need to be rushed. She needs someone willing to let her settle in at her own pace and learn who she is once she feels comfortable. https://forms.gle/G2dJx2NV4JXZcZ9F6

Story
Meet Ruthie! Ruthie is a beautiful Great Dane mix, about 3 years old, with a heart as big as her long legs. Since coming into foster care, she`s shown herself to be an incredibly sweet, gentle soul who simply wants to be close to the person she trusts. If you`re looking for a loyal companion, Ruthie is your girl. Around the house, she`ll happily stay by your side, whether you`re working, relaxing, or just moving from room to room. She also loves spending time outdoors, exploring our four-acre property and taking every opportunity to swim in the pond—one of her absolute favorite activities!Ruthie gets along wonderfully with our 90-pound Lab mix and would likely enjoy having another friendly, confident dog in the home. She`s a great passenger in the car, has excellent house manners, eats just about any dog food without complaint, and never turns down a chicken jerky treat.Ruthie does have one special consideration. She is extremely fearful of men. Rather than reacting aggressively, she simply hides. If my husband or brother are nearby, she`ll quietly retreat to a closet, under my desk, a dark corner of the house, or even outside to wait until she feels safe again. When I`m away, she`ll often hide in the trees until I return, then comes to me immediately when I call. It`s clear she finds comfort in women and forms deep bonds with the people she trusts.Because of this, Ruthie is looking for a patient, understanding home where she can finally relax and feel secure. An adult household, especially one with women, would likely be the best fit. She deserves a family who will let her move at her own pace, celebrate her small victories, and love her for the gentle, affectionate dog she truly is.Watching Ruthie blossom has been incredibly rewarding. She has so much love to give, and with the right home, I know she`ll continue to gain confidence and thrive. If you`re willing to earn her trust, you`ll be rewarded with one of the sweetest, most devoted companions you`ll ever meet.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt. It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. We don`t get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue!

Story
Quinn is a sweet and loving 5-year-old girl who loves walks, cuddles, and being with her people. She is incredibly gentle with our 3-year-old and has been by his side since he was a baby. She also gets along great with our cat! Her favorite thing is her blanket, which she carries everywhere. Unfortunately, with my new job requiring frequent travel, we’re unable to give her the time she deserves. We’re hoping to find her a loving home where she’ll be just as loved as she is with us.
