Story
Meet Grimm! At around 6-7 years old and 95 pounds, Grimm is a handsome Great Dane/Lab mix with an even bigger heart. While he may look like a giant, he's really just a sensitive soul who believes he's a lap dog. His perfect day includes a leisurely 15-20 minute sniff walk, plenty of cuddles with his favorite people, a good brushing, and a chewy to relax with.Grimm is an incredibly sweet, affectionate boy who truly wants to make his people happy. He loves learning, knows an impressive list of commands, enjoys car rides, and has great house manners. He'll happily entertain himself with a favorite chew toy, and if you stop petting him too soon, he has an adorable habit of sneaking up behind you and gently tucking his head under your arm—a move his foster family lovingly calls the 'Grimm Attack.'Like many sensitive dogs, Grimm can be nervous around unfamiliar adults. He does best with slow, positive introductions (treats help!) and needs a little time to build confidence with new people. Once you've earned his trust, you'll have a loyal shadow who just wants to be by your side. One of his most endearing qualities is how well he regulates himself—when he gets overwhelmed, he'll often shake it off and grab a favorite chew to help himself settle down.Grimm walks nicely on leash, is house trained, enjoys riding in the car, and is happiest living a quieter lifestyle with a predictable routine. Because he can resource guard high-value items and prefers his own space, he'd do best in an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy teenagers. He may be happiest as the only pet, though he could potentially live with another respectful dog if given appropriate management and his own space.Grimm has made incredible progress since coming into foster care. He arrived anxious and unsure on walks but has blossomed into a much more confident companion who enjoys exploring the world with his people. He'll thrive with a patient adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let this gentle giant settle in at his own pace.If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will love you with his whole heart, accompany you on late-night bathroom trips just to make sure you're safe, and spend the rest of the evening curled up beside you, Grimm may be the perfect addition to your family.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $200. Story
Meet Jake from State Farm! Great Pyrenees × Great Dane Mix | 1 Year Old | Fully Vetted Looking for a dog who will make you laugh every single day, shower you with unconditional love, and happily join you on every adventure? Then it's time to meet Jake from State Farm! This handsome, leggy goofball is a Great Pyrenees/Great Dane mix, which means he comes with all the best qualities of both breeds—a heart as big as his paws, a gentle soul, and just enough goofy charm to keep life entertaining. Jake is what we lovingly call a gentle giant derp. He has absolutely no idea how big he is and believes every lap is the perfect place for a cuddle. Whether he's zooming around the yard with his canine friends, flopping over for belly rubs, or making you laugh with his goofy expressions, Jake lives life with pure joy. At just one year old, he's still young enough to be playful and adventurous but old enough to have outgrown the tiny puppy stage. He's eager to please, loves being with his people, and is always ready for his next adventure. The best part? Jake has never met a stranger. ❤️ Loves people of all ages—from little kids to grandparents. Fantastic with dogs of all sizes. Gentle, affectionate, and wonderfully social. Playful, goofy, and always ready for fun. Fully vetted and ready for his forever family. Jake is the kind of dog who makes every house feel like a home. He's the friend who greets you with a wagging tail after a long day, the hiking buddy who's always up for an adventure, and the oversized cuddle bug who thinks he's still puppy-sized. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a giant heart, an even bigger personality, and enough loveVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 12, 2026, 12:07 pm

Story
He’s a lovable goof. When he wants you to pet him, he’ll come up to you, rub up against you and you’ll fall over if you don’t have your balance haha. He’s gentle, I’ve never seen him bite, not any person nor animal. He’s not needy. He obeys. He barks at people coming onto the property like any dog, so he’s protective or territorial. He’s not picky with his food. He loves to ride in the car. He needs a loving home for the last bit of his life!
