MACARONI IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN, AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO VA ONCE ADOPTED!    Macaroni is a Great Dane that wants to lounge on the couch with his person. He is 7 years old and weighs 140 pounds.  He is house broken. He is always up for a walk around the neighborhood and is moving 0-60 when the leash comes out. He is good with chill cats and enjoys sleeping on his bed or couch after a long day. Macaroni has been around very young foster puppies and done well, but it would be best for him to be the only dog in his new home as he doesn’t do well with other adult dogs that would possibly not be submissive to him. Macaroni needs a family with precious large breed  or Great Dane experience. He can be picky with new people and needs someone who can handle his size and preferences. Macaroni is ready to be part of your family and start making the memories you can only experience with him. He is fully vetted. Vetting includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies and all dog vaccinations. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to VA. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Macaroni up north to his new family. Story
Rooney is an ultra-sweet girl with a huge heart. She has a wonderful maternal instinct and has always been loving and watchful with my children and with our other dog, Tracker. After my divorce, we had to move from a home with a yard into an apartment, and because of my chronic health disability, I can no longer give her the space and activity she deserves.Rooney has a loud bark and can be reactive, likely connected to an unknown past where abuse is suspected. She has never nipped or bitten. She is a large girl who sometimes forgets her size, so she may accidentally knock over small children. I believe she would do best with older children or in an adult home with someone patient and comfortable with a reactive dog.Rooney misses having room to run and would thrive with a fenced yard and a family who will make her feel secure and loved. She and Tracker are very bonded, and I strongly prefer that they be adopted together if possible.

Story
Banjo was just a tiny little fella when his litter was dropped off to one of our dedicated fosters. It was quickly clear that these puppies were overrun with worms and unfortunately Banjo was the only one to survive.. Banjo is about 90% blind and has epilepsy (which is well managed) so he needs a special family that will understand his medical needs and be a calm leader when he experiences seizures. He has come a long way and we know that there is a family out there that can see passed his special needs and love him all the same. He does require medication for his seizures twice a day at meal times. Banjo is good with everyone! Including kids. He also loves being with other dogs and is neutral toward cats in his foster home. He is still very young so he does need to be crated when left alone but he has a great foundation for crating thanks to his foster. Banjo rides well in the car and is excellent for bath time. He LOVES food and thinks toys are less exciting. But dont worry his favorite games involve interacting with his people. Banjo is currently in PA but he can be transported to an approved adopter. This special boy needs a special family!
