Story
Gom is a 7-year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees mix with a gorgeous white coat, weighing 38 kg and standing 60 cm tall at the shoulder. He was rescued from the Wanju City Shelter in October 2022 and has been charming everyone he meets ever since! While Gom can be a little shy at first, his love for treats quickly wins him over, and it doesn’t take long before you can give him gentle pets. It takes a bit more time and trust before he’s comfortable being hugged or lifted, but once that bond forms, he’ll happily allow bathing and handling. With his big, sturdy build, Gom isn’t the biggest fan of being picked up with arms under his belly — but really, who can blame him? When it comes to other dogs, Gom is a bit of a lone wolf. Having spent most of his life in group living environments, he tends to prefer keeping to himself rather than playing with others. He’s not very interested in making new doggy friends and can feel uneasy around bigger or high-energy dogs. Gom hasn’t been around cats, but we do know he likes to chase after birds when he spots them, so a careful introduction would be important if a feline sibling is in the picture. With a low energy level, Gom is happiest when he’s lounging and taking it easy. On walks, he usually strolls slowly and calmly, but when excitement kicks in, he might pull a little and break into a happy trot. He can be a bit stubborn about wanting to choose his own path, but he’s still very manageable with a confident handler. Gom is not protective of food around people but may growl if another dog approaches while he’s eating — he does love his food, after all! He’s generally quiet, only barking occasionally if he’s feeling especially hungry and wants to let you know. He prefers doing his business outdoors and is overall a calm, gentle giant ready to find his perfect match. ##2377740##

Quick Facts  Name: Sangguen Age: 3 years old  Gender: Male Neutered/Spayed: Yes Breed: Great Pyrenees/Jindo Mix Color: White My PersonalityIntroducing Sanggeun, our lovable furry friend! This charming pup is a people-person through and through—ready to soak up all the pets and attention from anyone, including strangers! However, when it comes to little ones, sudden movements and loud noises can startle him a bit. If children are calm and gentle, he’s happy to hang out. Although he’s not a fan of being carried or lifted up, he’s a big fan of canine companions, especially smaller or similar-sized dogs. He’s a true protector, but only when needed—stepping up if other dogs are too rowdy or aggressive. Birds? Squirrels? They definitely catch his eye during walks, but with a bit of leash training, he’s working on his focus. Energy and ActivitiesIn terms of energy, he’s got the perfect balance—loving outdoor adventures but a total zen master indoors. While he might tug a little on walks, once he settles, he’s an excellent leash follower. Busy streets can be overwhelming, so quieter spots are more his style. Training and HabitsNo guarding resources from people, but he might issue a gentle growl if other dogs get too close. When it’s time to travel, he prefers a cozy crate in the car—helping ease those nerves and avoiding any car sickness. One thing’s for sure—he’s a potty pro outdoors only! Basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and eye contact? Nailed it! And did we mention he’s a sucker for ice cubes? Story
Quick Facts Name : Jake Age : 6 years old Sex : Male Neutered/spayed : Yes Breed : Great Pyrenees & Chowchow mix Color : Cream Weight : 23kg / 50lbs   Hello everyone! I am Jake. When I was younger, I got captured by the city employee and sent to Gwangju city shelter. There were just too many dogs like me, they city shelter had to put many dogs up on the list of euthanasia. My turn has come, and a warm-hearted rescuer heard this news! They decided to save me from this crisis, and provided me a second chance to meet my forever family.   My PersonalityI get along with other dogs and people. I love to rub myself to people, and I am okay to be lifted on the air. It does not matter if I have met you before? Who cares? I just love you! I like people more than other dog friends, so even though there are many of my friends, I will always prioritize you.    Social Skills Dogs : I can be a friend with any people and dogs! I just love everyone. Even though I have never met you! Cats : I have never lived with them, but aren't they usually respectful? Then, what would be the issue? Let's see how it goes! Kids : I have never lived with little humans, but I guess we can respect each other and grow up as good friends?   Energy and Activities I love the smell, sounds and warm sunlight outside. My energy level is just like many others. I like walking with people and everyone told me that I have excellent walking skills!  When we come back from outside, I would love to take some rest with you. It's the sweetest!   Training and Habits People used to say that my walking skill is excellent. I tried really hard! It may take some time to learn your speed, but I will catch up pretty quickly. Walking is the best!   My Ideal Home I don't really guard my food or toys from other people nor other dogs. I believe that it's a safe place to focus on myself! I don't like barking for no reason as well, too much false alarm isn't effective! The volunteers have provided me a kennel training. So I can have my own safe bubble. I like the idea, and I love it! I can do my business indoor and outdoor, but I would love to do it outside better. I think it's much clearner!    Special Notes People used to laugh at me because I behave quite funny and I have a big face! Do you agree? Well, I don't believe that I am big! I am a little bigger than others, isn't it? Even though my presence is big, I would love to be a lap dog just like these smaller dogs. I am dreaming of a day that I can share my big heart and warmth.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here!Jake's YouTube Playlist ##2381502##
