Hey there! My name is Blizzard! I’m a big goofy guy who loves to run, explore, and spend time with my people. If you’re outside gardening or going for a walk, I’ll happily follow you around and keep you company the whole time! Sometimes I get really excited or a bit frustrated, and I can be a little jumpy or try to gently nibble your feet to get your attention. It’s all in good fun — I’m just still learning the best ways to ask for love and attention. I’m comfortable around other dogs, but due to my size I haven’t had much chance to actually play with them in the shelter. Most of my friends here are much smaller, and I don’t want to accidentally squish anyone! I haven’t been around cats yet, so I’m not sure how I’d feel about them. I am neutered, up to date on my vaccines, and microchipped — ready to find my perfect match!

This handsome 1-year-old, neutered Great Pyrenees mix is a big-hearted guardian-in-the-making who already knows “sit” and takes treats gently (with medium pressure). He’s looking for an experienced, adult-only home with breed knowledge and a structured, active routine—someone who can commit to daily leash walks, a securely fenced backyard, and thoughtful, controlled dog introductions (he may do best as the only dog). He isn’t a match for homes with children, and he’s not ready for off-leash parks—he’ll need time to bond, build reliable recall, and be carefully observed through multiple one-on-one interactions with other dogs first. Cloud has a sweet, peaceful personality, but don’t let that fool you. Beneath his calm demeanor, he has a firm sense of responsibility and determination to protect his surroundings. Though he’s a bit shy, you’ll quickly sense his trust and strength. Cloud is a high-energy dog, so he would thrive in a home with a large yard. He loves being active, playing, and running around.
