After growing up on a farm and later coming into rescue, I finally learned that I, too, deserve care, comfort, and kindness. I recently weaned my final litter and am now ready to enjoy life as just a dog, not just a mama —one who loves cuddles, affection, and being close to her people. This extra-large, 1-year-old male Great Pyrenees is a friendly and affectionate companion with a gentle presence. He already knows sit and down, and he’s eager to continue learning with the right guidance. He may do best in a home with no children and would likely thrive as the only dog, or with a female dog of similar size and play style. He has been insecure with the officers and other men in the facility and would need time to build trust. An acreage or a large, securely fenced yard would be ideal, giving him plenty of space to roam and enjoy his favorite pastime—sunbathing.
