Story
Meet our sweet and goofy Roxy girl!! She’s the last dog left in our foster program, and after everything she’s been through, she deserves her forever home more than ever. Roxy is a 2-year-old, 80 lb mix (Great Pyrenees + American Staffordshire) with the sweetest, most cuddly personality. She loves being close, soaking up attention, and just being your big, happy shadow. Her story hasn’t been easy—she was abandoned as a puppy, tied to a porch when her family moved away. But she’s come so far. With nearly a year in foster care and professional training, she’s learned structure, leash manners, and how to trust again. She’ll need a strong, confident handler to continue guiding her—but you won’t be doing it alone. Her adoption includes 4–5 one-on-one training sessions to set you both up for success. ✔️ Loyal + protective (great watchdog) ✔️ Walks well on leash ✔️ Loves cuddles + affection Best fit: adult home, no young kids, and someone ready to give her the leadership and love she deserves. Please don’t let her be the one who gets overlooked. She deserves to finally go home. Let’s find Roxy her home 🤍

Story
Meet Milo – A Gentle Giant in the Making! Milo is a handsome 5-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy with a heart as big as his paws. Sadly, he was abandoned by his previous owners simply because he was growing too big and had the playful energy that every puppy should have. He's eager to learn, loves spending time with people, and is ready to become a loyal companion. With consistent training, exercise, and plenty of love, he'll grow into the gentle, devoted Great Pyrenees the breed is known for. Milo is: 5 months old Great Pyrenees Vaccinated Dewormed Microchipped Friendly, affectionate, and playful Ready to find his forever family His adoption fee is $275, which helps cover the cost of his veterinary care and prepares him for his new beginning. Story
Nimbus is a Great Pyrenees puppy who has just begun his journey with Big Hearts for Big Breeds. This fluffy little guy is available for a foster-to-adopt home where he can continue growing, learning, and building confidence as he prepares for his forever family. Nimbus is good with other dogs and enjoys being around people, though he is still a bit shy as he adjusts to the world around him. Like many Great Pyrenees, he’s already found his voice and isn’t afraid to use it — a trait that will grow with him as a natural guardian of his home. With patience, socialization, and gentle guidance, Nimbus will continue to blossom into a confident, well-rounded companion. He will be neutered and receive all of his vaccinations through the rescue prior to final adoption, ensuring he gets the best possible start. Nimbus also has a brother, Cirrus, who is part of the Big Hearts for Big Breeds family, making this a very special litter. If you’re ready to help a shy, sweet puppy grow into an amazing Great Pyrenees, Nimbus may be the perfect addition to your home.

Story
Quartz is a five-year-old neutered male Great Pyrenees who has completed a professional board-and-train program with one of our trusted partner trainers. He has put in the work and is ready to find a forever home through Big Hearts for Big Breeds. Quartz absolutely loves kids and thrives being part of a family. He is affectionate, devoted, and happiest when he’s near his people. Like many Great Pyrenees, he forms strong bonds and takes his role as a loyal companion seriously. Quartz previously displayed some food aggression with other dogs, so he will require thoughtful management at mealtimes and will do best with experienced owners who can confidently handle structured feeding routines. He previously struggled with kennel anxiety, but through training and consistency, he has made significant progress and continues to build confidence. Quartz will do best in a home familiar with guardian breeds — one that can provide leadership, routine, and clear boundaries while also giving him the love and inclusion he craves. If you’re looking for a kid-loving Great Pyrenees who has invested in his training and is ready for a committed forever family, Quartz may be your perfect match.

Please note this dog is NOT an official Underdog dog, and you will be connected with the person who has the dog. Please Contact Sam, 928-899-9040, Samuel.michel93@gmail.com:   MEET ASGEIR!! Asgeir is most comfortable outdoors due to his breed. He gets anxious indoors. He is a protector and will keep predators away, especially at night. He has been fenced, but with training, he could protect a larger perimeter or area. He was originally used for protecting goats in 2021. After the pandemic, most of the livestock was sold, so he is now mainly been protecting other areas of the home. He gets along well with the other female large breed dog, but it is not known how he does with male dogs. He is sweet, gentle, and very smart. He is great with kids of all sized.  Asgeir has never attacked any animal or human. He will growl to let other dogs know his food bowl is off limits. However, he is a gentleman and will not eat other's food. He is tolerant of cats, but he will bark at them if he isn't familiar with them as part of the family. He has a Hotspot on his back leg he likes to lick often; it is under a vet's supervision. Asgeir would love a home with space, love, and an outdoor setup. Meet Asgeir today!
