Story
Roxy has been through so much and deserves so much love. She was abandoned as a puppy in September 2024, but now, she is ready to meet & love her forever family! We just found out through a DNA test that she is half Great Pyrenees and half American Staffordshire Terrier. At 80 lbs, she doesn't realize how big she is however, she walks well on a leash and loves attention and cuddles. She has some reactivity to other dogs so a slow introduction is required if going to a home with other pets. She would also thrive as an only dog! An ideal home would have older (teen) or no children as she is strong when she plays. She is estimated to be born in May 2024 and she successfully completed a 4-week board-and-train program as of May 28, 2025. Her adoption comes with continued training (if needed) and covered by our rescue! If you’d like to learn more about her, please contact us!

Story
A year ago, Roxy was tied to a porch… and left behind. 💔 Today, she’s the last dog still waiting in our foster program. Everyone else found their home. She’s still here. Roxy is just 2 years old. 80 pounds of love, loyalty, and a heart that’s been through more than it should have. She didn’t give up on people—even after they gave up on her. She’s spent almost a year learning how to trust again. Learning that she’s safe. Learning that someone might actually stay. She’s the kind of dog that leans into you when you pet her… that just wants to be close… to feel chosen. But she does need someone strong. Someone patient. Someone who understands that love, for her, comes with a little healing. We’ll support you—her adoption includes one-on-one training sessions to help set you both up for success. She’s loyal. She’s loving. She’s trying. And she’s still waiting. Please don’t let her be the one who gets overlooked. 🤍 She deserves to finally go home. Story
Jyn is an amazing dog. Her nature is to be a guardian. We just had our first baby and Jyn has become increasingly protective/possessive over me and the baby. For this reason, we need to find her a new loving and safe home. She does not love new people right away, but once she knows you as part of her family, she is loyal and loving. She’s extremely intelligent. She knows all her basic commands and is kennel trained. She’s active, athletic and playful. We’ve taken her camping and fishing many times and she does great. She will do pretty much anything as long as she is with her people. Special considerations: She has female-female dog aggression so she should be the only female dog in the family. She is resource aggressive with our male dog; a male dog in the home should be chill. She has a lot of fear regarding going to the vet; a sedative is recommended. Jyn will need someone with patience who is willing to earn her trust and unlock the amazing faithful companion inside.
