Roxy has been through so much and deserves so much love. She was abandoned by her original "family" in September 2024,but now, she is ready to meet & love her forever family! We just found out through a DNA test that she is half Great Pyrenes and half American Staffordshire Terrior. At 72 lbs, she doesn't realize how big she is however, she walks well on a leash and loves attention and cuddles. She is estimated to be born in May 2024. She went through a 4-week board and train as of May 28, 2025. If you’d like to learn more about her, please contact us!

Story
Norton is a gentle giant with a heart full of potential. Norton came to PACC after living a rough life, likely as an outdoor dog who was left behind. Since arriving at PACC and moving into foster care, he’s been slowly learning what it means to be safe, loved, and part of a family.Norton is still shy with new people and needs time and patience to warm up, especially with men. He’s particularly sensitive about being touched near his neck and the area around his missing eye, but once he trusts you, he seeks out affection and enjoys being loved on in his own gentle way.He currently lives with other dogs and cats and is doing well with slow, supervised introductions. Norton is house-trained, crate-trained, and enjoys car rides, relaxing in the park, and taking in the world by his foster family`s side. Because Norton is still nervous about loud noises and unfamiliar environments, he needs to be monitored when outdoors and will need a secure yard with tall fencing and a solid gate. Norton likes the mellow, simple pleasures, so a home without young children would be best. He would love a calm, adult household with someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to go slow as he continues to grow more confident. If you`re looking for a loyal, gentle companion who just needs time, patience, and love to truly shine—Norton is your guy.

Story
Daisy came to PACC as a stray and while we don`t have any previous home notes she did get a break in foster care where we learned a lot about her! In her foster home she did well with an 20 pound dog and cats! She was also mostly house broken (only accidents over night), was an easy walker (no pulling!), and was learning crate training. Despite her young age and her size (~75 pounds) she was a mellow girl who enjoyed spending her days next to her foster at their desk. While she doesn`t have any notes with kids currently her calm disposition makes us hopeful that she would do well. If you`re looking for a new companion who fits in with your current animals Daisy might just be the girl for you! Stop in today to ask about Daisy!

Story
Meet Joey! This special and sweet boy is looking for a foster home! Joey has Wobblers Syndrome ( spinal deformity, and therefore difficult to walk on his forelimbs). Joey is looking for a special home and foster to care for his mobility while PACC looks into possible fundraising options for surgical correction. A foster up to the task of physical therapy would help as well! Joey has difficulty walkin on his two front legs, but tends to balance well on his hindend. He likes to be outdoors with some help moving and loves attention from people. If you are up to helping Joey out please reach out to us!

Story
We got Nova as a puppy 5 years ago from a breeder. She has been one of our babies and we love her so much! She is the biggest love bug. All she wants is to be close to her people. She love pets and snuggles. I want her to go to a home that’s active. She loves to run and walk and hike. She loves kids! She needs a yard and maybe another furry friend. My heart is shattered that we can’t take her with us and I want her to go somewhere she will be loved to the moon and back.
