Story
Hey everyone! This is Peach. 🍑💕 I’ve been fostering her for a month. She’s a Great Pyrenees mix weighing around 90 pounds, and she’s around 5 years old. She is spayed. She’s calm, lazy, housebroken, good on a leash, and generally well-mannered. She does well in a bath and during nail-trims. She behaves well around cats and other dogs, but she does have a resource-guarding problem around other dogs specifically. She hasn’t lashed out or snapped, she just growls. We are working on it, and she’s gotten better! She’s also excellent with kids. I’ve taught her to sit and lay down, and wait. She’s an easy dog to handle, as she’s calm and gentle and really just likes to lay around all day lol. She makes the perfect couch companion. I’m willing to include food, a 4-gallon water jug/bowl, a bed, and a leash with her adoption.

We are a group of happy, playful puppies full of curiosity and joy! Our days are spent pouncing, wrestling, playing tug-of-war, and exploring every nook and corner of the house. Adventure is our favorite job, and we take it very seriously. Food is another one of our great loves! Any trip to the kitchen must mean mealtime, and we’re happy to let you know just how hungry we are—even if we just finished eating. We are great with other dogs and kids, making us wonderful additions to families of all sizes. Our mama is a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix, and our dad is a Catahoula Leopard Dog, which means we’re expected to grow into large, strong, and loyal companions. With our playful personalities and affectionate nature, we’re ready to grow up in loving forever homes that can keep up with our energy and big hearts. Could one of us be the perfect addition to your family? Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Rupert is a handsome 3-year-old Anatolian Shepherd mix with a gentle soul and a truly friendly personality. This sweet boy loves people and forms strong bonds with his humans—he’s happiest when he’s included as part of the family and able to spend lots of time by your side. Rupert is dog-friendly and enjoys being outside, so a secure fenced yard is needed to keep him safe while he soaks up the fresh air and sunshine. Because he’s such a people-lover, Rupert is hoping for a home where his family is around most of the time. He thrives on companionship and simply wants to be near those he loves. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle, and affectionate dog who wants to be your adventure buddy and your best friend at home, Rupert may be the perfect match for you. Apply to adopt Rupert at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com Rupert’s adoption fee is $125.00 and includes first vaccinations, worming, microchip, and sterilization. We have a dog park to check compatibility with possible sibling dogs. Please fill out an adoption application at HeberSpringsHumaneSociety.com and a volunteer will contact you in 2-3 business days. The adoption application is NOT on Adopt a Pet and must be completed on the Heber Springs Humane Society website.
