Story
Hello friend! My name is Sadie 🐾🤍I’m a 2-year-old Great Pyrenees and Yellow Lab mix, weighing in at about 44 pounds of pure love and devotion. I have a gentle, easygoing nature and a heart as big as my fluffy paws! I’m the kind of girl who just wants to be close to my people—whether we’re relaxing on the couch, sharing quiet moments, or heading out for a stroll together. I’ll happily lean into you for cuddles for as long as you’ll let me. 💕I get along wonderfully with dogs, cats, kids, and even the elderly. I’m a great listener (and yes… I even know some Spanish! 😉), and I always try my best to please. I’ve spent part of my life as a devoted mama, raising litters of puppies with patience and care, but those days are behind me now—I’ve been spayed and I’m ready for my own forever family and a life filled with love.I walk well on a leash, load up easily into a vehicle, and ride like a dream. I’m also fully housetrained, crate trained, and I know how to use a doggie door. While I enjoy spending time outside, my favorite place is indoors, right next to my humans. 🛋️🐶One important thing to know about me is that I do experience separation anxiety, so I would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to keep me company and help me feel secure. I truly bond deeply with my people and love being part of their daily life. 🤍 If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, loyal companion who will fill your home with warmth, companionship, and unconditional love, I might just be your perfect match.📞 You can also call the shelter at 479-394-5682 to find out more about me. I can’t wait to meet my forever family… maybe it’s you! 🐾✨****************All animals at HSO are current on their vaccinations and will be spayed/neutered prior to adoption. If not already spayed/neutered, there may be a short delay between when you select this pet and when they are ready to go home.Breed and age are determined based on observable physical traits. Actual lineage and birth date are rarely known.Adoption Fees:-$60 for cats-$60 for dogs over 6 years-$80 for dogs 6 months old to 6 years-$100 for puppies up to 6 monthsCome visit our pets Tuesday-Saturday, 10am-2pm.

Story
Meet this sweet girl with the biggest heart. At just about 3 months old and 22 pounds, she’s already proven how resilient she is after being found abandoned in an empty lot along a busy road. She’s a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a gentle, loving pup who absolutely loves to play. She does great with other dogs and would fit in beautifully with a home that already has a furry friend. She also has the cutest personality. She loves to “talk” and will happily chat with you when she’s excited or wants attention. Still just a baby, she’ll need a family ready to help her grow into the big dog she’s destined to become. With a little patience and a lot of cuddles, she’s going to make the most loyal companion! To make the best possible match for you and the pet, please follow the link below to complete the Adoption Application. Once your application has been processed, we'll be in contact. We cannot schedule a meet and greet without a completed application. Please go to http://ootwrescue.org/adoption to fill out an application or review our Adoption Process.Cat adoption fee is $100. Dog adoption fee is $150, unless otherwise specified.

Story
Rooster – 2 Month Old Great Pyrenees Mix Rooster is a 2 month old Great Pyrenees mix with a soft, fluffy coat and a playful, affectionate personality. His mom is a Great Pyrenees mix, and based on dogs seen in the area, we believe dad may be a pure Great Pyrenees. While that is not guaranteed, Rooster is expected to grow into a large, fluffy adult dog. Great Pyrenees are a livestock guardian breed known for being loyal, intelligent, and naturally protective. Rooster will likely develop these traits as he matures. Because of this, he will do best in a home that is familiar with or willing to learn about the needs of guardian breeds. At this age, Rooster is a typical young puppy who enjoys playing, being held, and exploring his surroundings. As he grows, he will need structure, consistent training, and an environment suited for a large breed dog. Rooster is: Neutered Microchipped Up to date on vaccines and preventions Adoption Fee: $250 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $550 Out of State Adoption (includes transport to your area) Rooster is looking for a home prepared for a large, loyal companion and ready to provide the guidance and care he will need as he grows.
