Story
Mouse is a 4.5 year old great pyrenees mix (50% Pyr) and weighs 65 pounds. He is house trained, has been on numerous long car rides, long hikes, 5 mile moderate runs, and has gone through training to improve his recall (only needs work when there are really high stimulants like other dogs around). He does great as a running/walking partner and knows the "heel" command along with sit/down, leave it, yes/no, and "out the kitchen." He is crate trained. He gets anxious around other dogs indoors and has only interacted with stray cats in our neighborhood, one of which cut him so probably not good around any cats either. Only rehoming him because he has a lot of energy and can get rambunctious and he thinks of our two small kids as dogs and tries to play with them (too rough) and we can't risk him accidentally seriously hurting one of them.

Story
HAWAII anyone?? I mean, VACATION anyone?? We are the Hawaii girls and we would LOVE to give you a private tour of the most dynamic group of islands in the world!! So do you like pineapple and SPAM?? We do!! We think so anyway, I mean we are not even 8 weeks old yet....so no we haven't tried either yet but being named after the islands put us in an adventurous mood! So you can see how adorable we are and our story is one of love, a LOT of work- a LOT of lost sleep of multiple bottle baby fosters! There were 10 of us, all 2 days old- and born under a house and our mom was hit by a car. Lucky for us people KNEW we were there and saved us.....and the rescuers saved us ALL! Now we are ready for adoption into our forever homes!! We are sweet girls, looking for sweet and adventurous families...We are "shepherd/boxer" mixes with gorgeous markings, likely will be 50+ pounds full grown- we have fairly substantial paws :) We can't wait to meet you!! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Aiden is a sweet and energetic Pyrenees mix with an estimated DOB of 6/19/2024, and he weighs in at 77 pounds. Though it may take some treats and a few minutes, once he warms up, Aiden is as affectionate as he is adorable! He gets along with some other dogs, so we recommend a dog meet prior to adoption, and he should not go to a home with cats. He will chase a ball and probably not bring it back, but you can have fun teaching him how to fetch properly! Aiden does know sit, though you may have to let him burn some energy so that he can focus. He is puppy playful with a side of snuggle bug. Come meet Aiden today and give him the loving home he deserves! Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Every pet available for adoption is current on shots spayed/neutered, and microchipped. You may submit an application online for pre-approval and to set an appointment or you can visit the shelter Wednesday - Sunday from 11am - 5pm. Please note that the kennels close for pet viewing at 4:30pm.

Story
Meet Stormy! This talkative little cutie is a pyrenees mix puppy who was brought to us with her momma and siblings after they were found as strays. She is a sweet girl who mostly just like to lounge around after eating all her puppy food, but she does get up to the usual puppy shenanigans at least a few times a day! Her mother is a large sized dog, so she will most likely also be a large dog once full grown. Her date of birth is 2/1/2026.Our adoption fee is $125 for small breed dogs under 20 pounds and $100 for all other dogs and cats unless otherwise noted in their bio. Story
Meet Phoenix, a beautiful 3-month-old beautiful black-coated girl with a survivor’s spirit and a heart full of love. Phoenix’s story started in the hardest way imaginable — she was found at just 2 days old after being thrown away in a dumpster. But this girl didn’t just survive… she rose. Bottle-fed from the beginning, Phoenix has grown into an incredibly personable, people-loving puppy who thinks humans are pretty much the best thing ever. Phoenix’s DNA results show she is a unique mix with strong herding, guard, hound, and working dog roots. Her top breeds include German Shepherd Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier, Great Pyrenees, Catahoula Leopard Dog, Chow Chow, Lacy Dog, Australian Cattle Dog, Australian Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Labrador Retriever, and a few extra sprinkles of “one-of-a-kind.” Basically, she is part loyal guardian, part smartypants, part adventure buddy, and part oversized baby. At just 3 months old, Phoenix is already almost 30 pounds, so she is expected to grow into a large dog. Her future family should be ready for a big, beautiful girl with an even bigger personality. Phoenix gets along great with people and other dogs, and she is very curious about cats. She sleeps in her own bed every night like a big girl and has already learned that poop belongs outside. She is still working on the pee part of potty training, but she will use potty pads when they are available. Phoenix is sweet, social, curious, and full of potential. After everything she has overcome, she deserves a family who will love her, guide her, and give her the forever home she was always meant to have. Phoenix is ready to rise into her next chapter — could it be with you? Local adoption fee is $250(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)
