Story
Ylva is a 9 month old puppy that was found in a 8ft x 8ft pen with 10 other dogs her size. They were covered in feces, fleas, and puncture wounds. We took her home, cleaned her up, and after her first vet visit, we found out she had parvo. We treated her for parvo, got her vaccinated for Parvo, lepto, and Rabies. She is timid but sweet. She gets along GREAT with my other dogs and seems to ignore the cat. She is afraid of my 3 year old but she is pretty much afraid of everything. She has never bitten any human in the 2 months we have had her. Unfortunately, she has killed 3 of our chickens. I am looking for a new home to protect my livestock. Thanks!

Story
Bonny is an Alabai (Alabay) or often referred to as Central Asian Shepherd. The Central Asian Shepherd Dog is self-assured, balanced, quiet, proud and independent. They are very courageous and have a high working capacity, endurance and a natural instinct of territory. This breed is known for its fearlessness towards large predators. Central Asian Shepherd Dogs are a natural protective breed that require a non-stop observance for the life of the dog. They are not for first-time dog owners. They were formed as a breed from natural selection during more than four thousand years in a vast territory, which spreads nowadays from the Caspian Sea to China and from Southern Ural to Afghanistan. Now, what we know and have observed since she has been here. She is just a little over a year old. Due to her breed we will be looking for a for specific home for her. She needs room to roam and a person or family who has experience with live stock guardian breeds. She is silly and playful and can most often be found looking for a belly rub. We do require visits here to our rescue and home checks, so adoptions are limited to the Los Angeles, CA area.

She's a love, and will be a great addition to any family. Please let me know if you are interested.
