Story
We adopted River from the humane society when she was 6 mo old. She is now 1 year and 2 months old and a mix of Great Pyrenees, St. Bernard, Cane Corso, and German Shepherd. She weighs 105 pounds and has both the size and presence (that bark!) of a guardian breed, paired with a deeply affectionate and loyal nature. River is incredibly sweet and loving with her family, including our two children (ages 6 and 9). She walks well on a leash and can be redirected when she becomes unsure or reactive, but it takes an experienced hand. She is not reactive to all dogs or people, but she is very protective of her home and family. The reactivity manifests as big loud barks and lunges at new visitors to the house that we have not been able to manage. Because of this, we believe she would thrive best with an adopter with experience with guardian breeds. Our only goal is to place her in a home where she can feel safe, understood, and set up for long-term success.

Story
Chevron is a sweet little girl who has a special talent for sitting quietly and looking absolutely adorable. She may be a bit shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—she warms up quickly and shows her affectionate side once she feels comfortable. She’s food motivated and very smart about it, happily coming inside when a treat is offered. Chevron does a great job letting you know when she needs to go out, heading to the door and sometimes giving a small bark to be extra clear.Chevron is great with dogs and loves playtime. She’s adventurous in the yard, excited to chase balls, discover sticks, and explore her surroundings. When playing with her sibling, she can get a little boisterous, adding to her fun-loving personality. If you’re looking for a gentle, playful pup who balances sweetness with adventure, Chevron could be the perfect addition to your home.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. Story
Buck has been living on my 5 acres with horses, chickens, small dogs, big dogs, cats, and little kids. He is a sweet, cuddly dog that loves to patrol fences and run in the woods. He has been off leash but knows how to lead. I use a training collar to communicate with him. He has very little formal training. I am refining because he is not getting along with my other male dog and is able to jump my fence if left outside too long. He doesn’t wander but I live next to a highway. He loves hiking, swimming, drives, people. I want a home where he gets a lot of exercise and attention. He is not hyper nor loud. No fee but I want proof of having a vet and knowledge you are comfortable with dogs.
