Handlebar is the most adorable, affectionate puppy, and he’s also proving to be an absolute dream with other dogs. He’s calm and neutral around new canine friends, communicates beautifully, and still enjoys playing with his foster siblings without getting overly hyped. He’s got that perfect balance of confidence and sweetness.This boy is a high-energy lap dog in the best way: he loves to play—whether solo or with other dogs—then happily comes back to curl up for cuddles once he’s tired himself out. While he’s still a snuggler at heart, he’s growing into a slightly more independent pup who entertains himself well.Handlebar is also a total superstar with training. He is officially potty trained and crate trained, which is pretty amazing for such a young pup! He settles well, follows routines, and is eager to be a great companion.At around 10 pounds at just 10 weeks old, Handlebar is expected to grow into a medium-sized dog.If you’re looking for a puppy who’s affectionate, playful, dog-savvy, and already rocking the basics, Handlebar might be your perfect match.We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. Story
We adopted River from the humane society when she was 6 mo old. She is now 1 year and 2 months old and a mix of Great Pyrenees, St. Bernard, Cane Corso, and German Shepherd. She weighs 105 pounds and has both the size and presence (that bark!) of a guardian breed, paired with a deeply affectionate and loyal nature. River is incredibly sweet and loving with her family, including our two children (ages 6 and 9). She walks well on a leash and can be redirected when she becomes unsure or reactive, but it takes an experienced hand. She is not reactive to all dogs or people, but she is very protective of her home and family. The reactivity manifests as big loud barks and lunges at new visitors to the house that we have not been able to manage. Because of this, we believe she would thrive best with an adopter with experience with guardian breeds. Our only goal is to place her in a home where she can feel safe, understood, and set up for long-term success.
