Story
Meet Nala! Nala is a sweet and playful 1-year-old Pyrenees/Husky mix looking for her forever home! She loves to chase tennis balls, frisbees, and the occasional squirrel, and she’s always ready for a walk or adventure. When playtime winds down, she’s a total cuddle bug who loves being close to her people. Nala gets along well with other dogs, though she can be a little intimidated at first — slow, supervised introductions work best. She has started showing her fun, puppy-like side with other dogs and enjoys playing once she feels comfortable. She can be protective of her people at first and sometimes resource guards toys, so she’ll do best with a family committed to consistency, structure, and positive training. She’s both kennel trained and house trained, though she really doesn’t like being left alone, especially at night. Nala prefers being near her people, and she’s happiest when she can be part of the action instead of tucked away upstairs by herself. This smart girl already knows sit, shake, down, and stay (especially if freeze-dried beef liver is on hand — her favorite!) and she’s working on fun new tricks like spin and place. She is eager to learn when motivated with the right treats and attention. While cats aren’t her favorite companions, Nala’s affectionate, playful personality shines bright. She’ll make the perfect adventure buddy for an active family — and an equally wonderful snuggle partner when it’s time to relax. ##2219524##

Story
Vivian is a sweet, but shy Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd. She is fully vaccinated and microchipped. Vivian is nervous to have a leash put on, so needs to get accustomed to being leashed. She is house broken, dog friendly, and good with people, though she just will shy away, with strangers, sometimes., She is approximately 7/8 months old and weighs 445 pounds, so will most likely be a big girl when full grown. We would love to see her go to a home with another dog in the home, for socialization and companionship. She will be spayed as a part of her adoption agreement, covered by the rescue. If interested in Vivian, please fill out our adoption application: www.salvagedsoulspetrescue.org.
