Crate Trained: Working on it Good in the car: Yes Good on Leash: We have not done any leash training yet but will be starting Energy Level: 100% puppy energy at all times and then crashes hard for a nice nap. Need fenced yard: No but her foster has a fenced in yard. Dog Friendly: Yes! She loves to play and snuggle with her sister. She also loves to play with the dogs that come in to the shop to be groomed. If yes, does she. need another dog in the home: No. Cat Friendly: Yes. She loves playing with our cats. Kid Friendly: Yes she has been around our three grandkids ages 4, 6 and 9. If yes, what age: Any with supervision. Keep in mind that she is in the baby shark era of her life so everything: fingers, shoes, dog toys, pants legs, basically anything she can get his mouth on is fair game. Special traits that others should know: Blither is sweetheart and always has a onery look on her face. She loves being outside running thru the bushes crashing her sister and the other residents dogs. She plays hard and then she crashes. She loves chewing on her bully bones and toys. Like all puppies, she will need patience, training, and consistency to become the best dog she can be. Fosters location: Millsboro, DE. Story
Dog Name: Bosh Breed: Pyrenees mix Sex: Male Age: 9-10 weeks Weight: 12 Medical Needs: Remainder of puppy shots and rabies vaccine once old enough. Must be neutered by the end of August 2026. The appointment is included in the adoption fee at one of the clinics we use and the foster-to-adopt family will need to email GRR to request the appointment when puppy is 18-20 weeks at the clinic closest to them. (Options are Wilmington, Newark, Dover, Georgetown.) Keeping the appointment that’s assigned by the clinic will be a condition of adoption. Foster-to-adopt families must live within one hour of DE and be willing to travel here for the pending appointment. Housebroken: working on that now and doing a great job! Crate trained: training in progress Good in car: So far he has only traveled in a crate with his brothers. Good on leash: learning and doing a great job! Energy level: Medium. Normal puppy playfulness. Loves exploring the yard. He plays with the pups in his foster home but respects them when they say no more. His foster mom loves the way he tags along where she goes. Need a fenced in yard: No, but he would love one. Dog friendly: Yes, he is a social, playful puppy. If yes, does your foster need another dog in its adoptive home? Nah! Cat friendly: Unknown. Kid Friendly: Bosh has love all the kids he has met, from 2 years old to 14 If yes, what's the youngest child you'd recommend they be placed with? : Bosh is little, still a baby and is at an age where everything is new. Until he is a little bigger and understands the rules, he should be carefully monitored when interacting with children. Special traits that make your foster special or that we need to know: So far Bosh is not high energy, just playful, super affectionate, and loves to be with his people. He’s a typical puppy chew machine so having appropriate chew items is a must! Foster Location: Centreville Md Application can be found here: https://www.grrde.org/adoption-application (If you already have an approved application on file, email GrassRootsDE@gmail.com, and ask the app team to pull your app.) ##2692180##

Story
Clifford's Story Clifford is a handsome 3-year-old Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix with a gentle heart and a loyal spirit. Arriving at the shelter as a stray, Clifford has shown just how resilient and loving he can be. Weighing around 62 pounds, he’s the perfect medium-large companion—big enough for adventure, but easygoing enough to settle in by your side. Clifford walks beautifully on a leash and truly enjoys getting out to explore the world with his people. He’s friendly, affectionate, and eager to connect, making him a wonderful match for someone looking for a devoted canine companion. Clifford would do best as the only dog in the home, as he prefers to have his space all to himself. Because of this, he’s looking for an experienced adopter who understands his needs and can provide structure, patience, and plenty of love. With the right home, Clifford will thrive and form a deep, lasting bond. If you’re ready to open your heart to a loyal, one-of-a-kind companion, Clifford is ready to meet you.
