Story
There's a combination of reasons why I can not keep Cowboy. He was rehomed about two weeks ago and then literally was dropped back off in my yard yesterday. He needs a forever home with someone who can give him the attention he needs. He is extremely sweet and very playful. He is just physically too big for me handle. He's fixed and plays well with other dogs. He's easily excited and that is the ONLY reason I would not let small kids around him (because he is big and goofy), but he definitely does well with bigger kids. He love people and he just wants to play. He eats literally anything you put in front of him and makes a great guard dog. He is crate trained/ house trained. He is a big chewer, so the tougher the toys the better. I was not expecting him back, so i was definitely not prepared, so the sooner we can find him a home, the better.

Story
Meet Cowboy - Your Playful and Loyal Companion! This handsome fella is a Pit Bull and Great Pyrenees mix. He's approximately 2 years old, this large and in-charge boy is ready to lasso his way into your heart and home! Cowboy is extremely playful with a whole lot of energy to share. His current owners do NOT have cats, so we are UNAWARE of how he is with cats. Cowboy is crate trained and knows his basic commands like sit, stay, and even landown (most of the time). He walks decently on a leash, he can get a little excited and pull occasionally, so continued leash training would be beneficial. Ideally, Cowboy is looking for a loving family with a fenced-in yard where he can play to his heart's content. He would likely thrive with a family who can match his energy levels. His current family loves him dearly, but recognizes that their long work hours mean he's often alone, and they want him to have a home where he can receive the attention and activity he deserves.

Story
Great Pyrenees dogs (even those who are only 62% GP) don't get more beautiful than Zoey. She immediately captured the heart of our west Bradenton caretaker, who would be adopting her if she didn't already have a number of dogs. Zoey is about 3 years old. We weren't told much else about her when she was surrendered, but we've concluded that she's deaf. So she can be timid and fearful until she becomes familiar with her environment and the people and animals in it. If she isn't pressured, she eventually becomes more trusting. Our adoption process involves a foster period to make certain the family and the dog are a good "fit," and this will be important for Zoey. Zoey gets along with our other dogs, and she lived with cats before we acquired her, but she's also content to be alone. We're looking for a patient adopter who can develop a close bond with Zoey, take special steps to communicate effectively with her, and keep her comfortable and safe for the rest of her life. If you're interested in Zoey, please contact us and we''ll get back to you within a day. Since our adoption process involves a foster period (as indicated above) and home visits, we're looking for a family in Bradenton or Sarasota (Florida).

Story
Nova was picked out of her litter at 6 weeks old. She was born May 5th, 2023. She has only known a life on a farm. No leash experience. She needs to be touching a human at all times. She’s very clingy but in the sweetest way. She isn’t fixed because we never had a male dog in her presence. She can be a little moody about her food when she is in heat but she’s never been aggressive or dangerous. She loves children and gets along with cats. She likes baths and follows commands. She needs a home with someone who loves animals as much as she loves humans and has time for her. Our family was given less than 30 days to move after 12 years and had to find something quickly. So she unfortunately can’t go. I do not want to surrender her. I would love to find her a new family!
