Story
Great Pyrenees dogs (even those who are only 62% GP) don't get more beautiful than Zoey. She immediately captured the heart of our west Bradenton caretaker, who would be adopting her if she didn't already have a number of dogs. Zoey is about 3 years old. We weren't told much else about her when she was surrendered, but we've concluded that she's deaf. So she can be timid and fearful until she becomes familiar with her environment and the people and animals in it. If she isn't pressured, she eventually becomes more trusting. Our adoption process involves a foster period to make certain the family and the dog are a good "fit," and this will be important for Zoey. Zoey gets along with our other dogs, and she lived with cats before we acquired her, but she's also content to be alone. We're looking for a patient adopter who can develop a close bond with Zoey, take special steps to communicate effectively with her, and keep her comfortable and safe for the rest of her life. If you're interested in Zoey, please contact us and we''ll get back to you within a day. Since our adoption process involves a foster period (as indicated above) and home visits, we're looking for a family in Bradenton or Sarasota (Florida).

Story
Denver is an adorable 2-year-old pup with lots of energy and love to give. Believe it or not, he's 33% Great Pyrenees, even though he doesn't look it. Denver is SUPER friendly. He recently spent a bit of time at our veterinary clinic following routine surgery, and EVERYONE fell in love with him. No one wanted him to leave! Denver is also very playful. In fact, sometimes he's just plain silly. When he's in the fenced-in yard at our west Bradenton facility, he enjoys racing around, exploring and sniffing everything in his path. He's good with other dogs and would love to have a canine sibling to play with in his new home. If you live in Bradenton or Sarasota (Florida), Denver could be your new best friend. He is eagerly waiting for someone to take him home. Could it be you?

Meet Gray! 🐾💙 Gray is an almost 2-year-old Great Pyrenees mix, and he’s as handsome as he is sweet. With his soft, submissive personality, Gray is a truly gentle soul who just wants to be loved. The busy shelter environment makes him a little nervous, but underneath that shyness is the sweetest, most loyal boy who is ready to blossom once he feels safe and secure. With patience, love, and a calm home, Gray will shine as the devoted companion he’s meant to be. This big, beautiful pup is waiting for the chance to trade in the shelter life for a cozy bed, gentle pets, and a family of his own. He’s so ready to love and be loved. 🐶❤️

Story
Meet Linus, a fun-loving, goofy, and bouncy Great Pyrenees who weighs in at over 100 lbs of pure fluffy joy and energy! Linus is a wonderful companion, but because of his size and unique needs, breed experience is required to ensure he thrives in the right home. His new family will need to understand the traits, diet, and behavior of this amazing breed and appreciate his big heart (and big size)! Linus is looking for a forever home as a beloved petnot a farm or working dog. If you're ready to offer him the love and attention he deserves, he cant wait to meet you!IMPORTANT NOTE:Due to his size, we reccomend no small children. He would do best as a solo dog, but could live with another dog with a slow introduction.Once again - BREED EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Albus, a 1-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart! Weighing around 60 pounds, Albus is young, curious, and ready to learn what it means to be someone’s best friend. Albus is currently in a foster home, where he’s working hard on potty training and learning basic manners. His foster is helping him not to lunge at cars on walks, and he’s making steady progress with patient, positive guidance. He can be a bit mouthy when he gets excited, but he’s eager to please and loves earning praise. He’s okay in a crate and learning to settle when it’s time to rest. Albus came to us from a shelter with a short tail, likely the result of a previous amputation or self-mutilation, but it doesn’t slow him down one bit — he still wiggles with happiness when he sees his people! At the shelter, Albus tested well with other dogs, and we think he’d enjoy having a canine friend to play with. We’re not sure how he feels about cats, so introductions should be done carefully. When he’s not in the mood to play, Albus is a total snugglebug who loves cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed with his people. He truly enjoys being close and part of the family. Because he’s still learning and can be strong on leash, Albus will do best with a confident, active person who can guide him and manage him on walks. A fenced yard is preferred, as he enjoys exploring and having a safe space to stretch his legs. He was never taught commands before rescue, but he’s now learning to sit and starting to understand what’s required to be a “good boy.” If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who’s ready for a fresh start and eager to make you proud, Albus might be the perfect match for you.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 17, 2025, 11:11 pm
