Story
Layla is a sweet and good girl. She is, however, not great with poultry. I’ve had her for 2 years and despite working with her, she has continued injuring chickens or killing baby chicks or ducks. She would likely be a fine guardian for larger livestock. It would be helpful to have breed experience but not 100% needed for her. She’d likely make a fine house dog with sufficient outside time. Unfortunately I cannot keep her inside 24/7 and I cannot trust her to be with my chickens/ducks/geese. She is up to date on all shots, spayed, gets along with male and female dogs and seems to be fine with my cats. She is approx 80 lbs. she is a little shy with strangers at first but warms up quickly. Loves to be brushed. Will tolerate touching her feet and trimming nails.

Story
Chuck Norris is one of the four puppies that were abandoned. He is a short-legged boy but he`s cute as cute can be. He`s a very happy boy who lives like he has the whole world open to him. He is slowly learning how to walk on a leash and learning to not potty in his pen. Chuck loves water, kids, and other dogs. This boy is the star of the show with how he smiles and runs around with his short little legs. You could never have suspected he was abandoned at a young age. He`s ready for that forever home.

Story
Juniper is a sweet girl who had a very rough start in life. She was bred every time she came into heat. Then her, her puppies, then one from her past litter, and the dad to the puppies were all abandoned by their owner. She has since been brought to ACARF where we spayed her so she has no more puppies and she can finally be a puppy herself. She is good with kids of all ages, most dogs, but does not do well with cats. When she gets excited, she will also shake from the tip of her nose all the way to her tail. She is good on a leash, housebroken, and ready for a home where she`s important like she deserves.

Story
Vic is a very happy boy who came in with Juniper where they were abandoned by their owner with puppies. Vic came to us with a severe case of a flea allergy with 75% of his hair was missing and his skin was bright red and infected. He`s slowly getting his hair back and you can tell by the way he trots that he`s feeling better as well. He`s good with kids, dogs, but not good with cats. He is good on a leash, housebroken, and loves to run around and act like the puppy he hasn`t had the chance to be. When he gets excited, he will also shake from the tip of his nose all the way to his tail. Now all he needs is a home to be able to run and play, a home to feel loved in, a person to call his own.

Story
Jack is one of four puppies that were abandoned with their mom, dad, and older brother. Jack came in completely unsure of what was going on. He had never been anywhere other than the place he was born. Him and his siblings came to us at 10 months of age, they didn`t know what a leash was or even a car ride. Since then Jack has come a long way in learning how to walk on a leash. He even has made a few new friends outside his siblings. He is starting to learn not to potty in his pen and is great with other dogs and kids. We would suggest no cats as he seems a little too interested in them.
