Meet Walter Lee McFluff — The Fluffiest Future Gentle Giant Check out the videos on his profile to see this silly guy in action! Walter Lee McFluff is a young Great Pyrenees puppy with all the charm, sweetness, and goofball energy this breed is famous for. As a true working-breed pup, he’ll thrive with an adopter who understands GP personalities — thoughtful, always up for a job or task, observant, independent, and incredibly loyal once they bond. Walter came to us when he was found curled up in front of someone’s apartment door. The finder left to go to work and returned to find Walter still curled up, waiting for him. While the finder was unable to keep Walter, as apartment living isn’t conducive to a dog like Walter, he did everything to find his owners. When no one came forward that’s when Melissa’s Second Chances stepped up to help this gentle guy. Despite his future “majestic guardian dog” status, right now Walter is all puppy: adorably clumsy, soft as a cloud, and friendly with absolutely everyone. He loves people and other dogs, though he’s naturally a bit timid and not the super snuggly type (at least not yet!). He takes cues and corrections well and has done great around both big and small dogs. He also shows zero interest in rabbits — a polite king! 🛏 Home & Training • Crate trained and sleeps all through the night (8 hours!) • Pretty potty trained! He’s mastered #2 outside but may let out a little excited pee during greetings. At his age he will still need someone who understands and can continue puppy potty training. • Takes direction beautifully and wants to learn • Still discovering how to coordinate those giant puppy paws 🌳 Ideal Home Walter is a growing GP, so space and structure are key. This is Nova. She is a 5 year old Great Pyrenees and Yellow Lab mix. She is a very sweet dog- to her adult humans. We love Nova very much but she is now resource guarding and has become aggressive towards our other pets. Nova really needs a home where she is the only pet and at this point I would say she needs a home with no small children. She is very vocal and persistent about what she needs and wants so she'll need someone with patience that can devote a lot of time and attention to her. It's hard for us to say goodbye but we think she'll be happier as an only pet.

How about the perfect partner to cuddle up next to while you scroll? Well, we have the perfect fit for you! Lily understands all those assignments and is ready to take them on. This lovely lady is an 11-year-old Great Pyrenees mix weighing 92 pounds. She has traded the wild zoomies in for cozy naps. Don’t get us wrong, she is also up for some fun playtime with her doggie friends. She even plays with the 1-year-old doggo in her foster home. Toys? Eh…she can take them or leave them. She has been known to chew on a Kong here and there, but would much rather hang out with her humans. Miss Lily is a sweet and lovable gal. She has not been around kids in her foster home, but her foster mom tells us she believes she would do really well with them. She is housetrained and does just fine on leash. She knows her name and will come when called. Her favorite place to crash at night is next to her people’s bed. Lily doesn’t require much exercise but would really enjoy a daily walk or two. There are so many things to see and explore out there! She would absolutely love a doggie sibling to hang out with. This mature gal is looking for a family that can give her the love and attention she deserves. Lily is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
