Meet Snowbear, an absolute sweetheart who gets along with everyone! He completely ignores cats, gets along with dogs of all sizes and is very gentle with children, even toddlers. Snowbear likes to go on walks and hang out in the yard, especially on a nice cool day. He loves to play but doesn't mind entertaining himself. When brought into care, Snowbear's beautiful fur was matted so he has an odd haircut right now, but his fur should grow out. He'll need regular brushing and handles grooming very well. There’s a new DUDE in town, and his name is “Coop-Dog”. 😎 Ok, his name is really Coop, but he has enough swagger to pull off Coop-Dog. So, what makes this boy “swag”? Keep reading. Coop is a 4-year-old Great Pyrenees who currently lives in a foster home with five dogs, three cats, two kids, AND chickens! How’s that for well socialized? He is housetrained and knows how to “sit” and “down” when asked. This cool guy is fine on a leash, but he would prefer exploring his surroundings on his own. He has energy to burn, and he will need plenty of opportunities to expend it. Toys? He can take them or leave them, but make sure those shoes are put up; that is his “toy” of choice. Coop doesn’t seem to think rules are made for him. Hehe Coop is a handsome guy, and he knows it, so he will shed his coat quite a bit to make room for his stunning new fur. He is loving and sweet, but he can get “pushy” when he wants to go somewhere. He will push his way through. We call it pushy, he calls it swaggy. He can jump 4-foot-tall fences, so ensure you have a taller and secure fence, so he doesn’t go on an unsupervised walkabout. Lulu is a Great Pyrenees mix so she is a medium sized dog. She does not get along with my other pups and it is hard to keep them separated in my small home. She loves to run and play outdoors, but I live off of two busy roads in the middle of town and she isn’t able to do so without being on a chain because she can jump my chain link fence and I am scared she will get hit if she runs! A home with no other pets or young children(because we’re unsure how she would do) would be best for her. Living somewhere with a privacy fence(that she can’t jump) or a house in the country with land to run her little out would be a perfect fit. I go on vacation in two weeks and have to find a home before I leave!!
