Story
If the staff here at KVHS had to describe Hadleigh after a book title, it would be `where the red fern grows`. But in a very positive way! She is full of love and loyalty once she gets to know you. She will mark a spot on your heart that will be forever sacred. Just like the plant it`s self, Hadleigh is very sensitive, gentle and delicate to meeting new people and touch. Therefore, we are asking for respectful kids, or children who are the ages of 10-12 years old. She would thrive in a home with another dog companionship that she could follow and build confidence with along her journey. So, she is very open to meeting other dogs, ( calmer may be better). Story
If you`re looking to channel your inner Moto Moto,Meet Moose- A giant, big-hearted, outgoing guy. At nearly 100lbs he`s quickly made a lot of friends here at KVHS! He loves going on walks, and knows exactly where to take you. We have been working on his leash manners with a gentle leader! Everyone he meets is his new BFF- especially when they have toys or treats! He loves to eat and loves to play! Typical to the Anatolian breed, he enjoys being outside and romping in the snow; good luck getting him inside! He may be seven years old, but he has the energy of a young dog!Although Moose would thrive as the only dog in the home, he HAS previously lived with cats, chickens, and rabbits! Children? He`s lived with those too (including young infants) and has done well with them!Interested in meeting the brindle king? Swing on down to KVHS during available adoption hours to meet him with the whole family!
