Gypsy's journey to Ruff Start Rescue began when she was found as a stray in Houston Texas, looking a bit thin and with some hair loss. But don't let her rough start fool you – Gypsy is one happy and loving dog! This sweet girl thrives on attention and is always in good spirits, no matter the time of day. She's a hugger and absolutely loves being showered with affection. While she's got plenty of love to give, Gypsy isn't meant to be a guard dog – she's much more interested in spreading joy than keeping watch. Gypsy is happiest when she has room to run and play. If you're looking for a loyal companion who'll brighten your days with her infectious happiness, Gypsy might just be the perfect match for you. Gypsy currently lives with big and small dogs and adults. She has not been introduced to cats. Gypsy is from Texas. I have a very very cool name. I mean, who names a dog after a "lasting impression" left by anyone through actions, beliefs or accomplishments that may resonate with people???? I was so sick, scared, injured, dirty, scared when the rescue pulled me from the pound.... and LOOK AT ME NOW!! I have white fur, smiling face, relaxed and happy eyes and an openness for the future!! Camper is 1 year old (born January 2024) and was originally adopted from a humane society. He is the sweetest, most loving big boy. However, we need to rehome because we are moving, and the space is significantly smaller than where we are now. He would do best on some land to romp around on, or with an active family who can help give him the mental/physical activity his breed needs. Although he loves napping and snuggling, he loves to have a friend to play with and a home to protect. He has been in a home with little children and another dog and is so patient, loving, and gentle. He loves to play tug of war, go for walks, and snore while he sleeps.
