You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Marshall County Humane Society requires an appointment to show an animal since we are all volunteer. We also require a home visit before finalizing adoption to check the security of your fence if you are adopting a dog. We only adopt to areas within 125 mi. of Holly Springs MS. Our dogs are given much care and attention and we want to make sure they are in a safe and secure environment. We are a limited intake adoption center and a non-profit organization. Our animals have been spayed/neutered & are up to date on shots. Our standard Dog adoption fee is $175 which includes a microchip. We sometimes make exceptions to standard fee for those with extra medical care. Our Cat adoption fee is $105.00. Dogs will require a fenced yard. 3 yrold female spayed Great Pyrenees. This is sweetie and she is without a doubt the sweetest dog we've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Unfortunately before she and my other female German shepard, were spayed they got into a fight and they haven't been able to get along since. We're now at the point that we can no longer safely keep them on the same property without the risk of them breaking out of their respective fields (Pyrenees like to roam) and want to avoid the chance of another encounter. Sweetie is exposed to life on the homestead and will guard your animals well. She gets along fine with my other dogs and has no issues with dogs at the groomer it just seems to be her and my Shepard, that said they have been together without issue as long as we're not present but its too risky. She does prefer to eat by herself though. She's also been diagnosed with a collapsed trecea.
