Story
Meet Atlas, a Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix who came to us after a family member could no longer care for him. He arrived very underweight, but he has been dewormed, is gaining weight steadily, and is now healthy and ready for a new home. Atlas is a huge sweetheart who thinks he’s a lap dog—gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. He also has great natural guard-dog instincts without being aggressive. He’s good with medium and large dogs and loves being close to his people. Atlas isn’t fixed yet, but he’s a truly special boy who deserves a loving home that can give him the time, space, and care he needs. We knew we couldn’t keep him long-term, but we wanted to make sure he became healthy and stable first. Now he’s ready for a family who will appreciate his gentle heart and let him blossom into the amazing companion he’s meant to be.

Story
Meet Sarge: The Magnificent Guardian Seeking a Dedicated Leader Sarge is a truly magnificent sight: a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees with a striking white and tan, beautiful coat, weighing a robust 120 lbs. He is a dog of immense loyalty, presence, and a big heart waiting for the right human to lead him. Sarge is a special-needs adoption case, and we are looking for a very specific, experienced home dedicated to his success. His Ideal Kingdom: Experienced Adult-Only Home: Sarge requires an experienced dog owner with a strong, dedicated hand who is ready to commit fully to continued training and structure. Solo Ruler: Sarge must be the only pet in the household. He does not do well with other dogs, cats, or small animals. No Children: Due to his size and training needs, Sarge requires a home with no children. Private Sanctuary: He needs a secure, private yard where he can confidently guard his space without interactions with neighboring dogs. This is where he feels safe and can truly relax. Why the Effort is Worth It: Sarge is a deeply loyal guardian who is stuck waiting for a chance. He has spent too long in a boarding facility simply because we haven't found his match. When his devotion is earned, he is a confident, watchful companion who will bond deeply with his person. He needs a leader who understands the Great Pyrenees breed and is ready to give him the time and training needed to thrive. If you have experience with large working breeds, are committed to ongoing dedication, and are ready for a dog that requires structure but offers unparalleled loyalty, please consider Sarge. Interested in Sarge? Story
🐾Meet Shiro: The Gentle Giant🐾 Shiro was a rescue from a local farm that was downsizing its herd. While he was originally meant to be a livestock guardian, he quickly showed his heart belongs to people and loves being a family companion. Personality: He's a sweet, loving dog who enjoys relaxing near his family. Shiro is a devoted companion who loves a good nap in a cool spot. Like his breed suggests, he can be a little independent with occasional stubbornness and observant, always keeping a watchful eye on his family and surroundings. He is excellent with children and loves a gentle, slow belly rub. Shiro is looking for a home with a securely fenced yard to ensure he stays safe, as he is a roamer where he can patrol and relax. He would thrive with a family that appreciates a calm, gentle giant and is prepared for his shedding and independent nature. Most importantly, he needs a family that will shower him with love and include him in daily life.
