Story
Walter is a good dog. He's a Great Pyrenees who was given to us as a puppy without papers, so we are unsure if he is purebred, but his vet assures us he's pure and he looks and acts very much like a Great Pyrenees. He even has the double dew claws! It was a random occurrence at a park one day where his owner's saw us with our other dogs and asked if we wanted him. As they were being forced to move and couldn't take him with. We said sure, and at the time it was the right choice. But as time has gone on, we've gotten to where he needs more than what we can offer and our older dogs are needing more care and medical attention. He is current on shots and vet visits and has no health issues. He will be turning 3 in May of 2026 and is full of energy. We love him, but we feel he is being neglected from what a Great Pyrenees really needs. He is comfortable around other dogs and cats as we have both. He is house trained. Adding fee to keep out the riff-raff, can negotiate.

Story
Luna is a calm, loving girl who thrives on companionship. She enjoys peaceful walks, quiet time, and being close to her favorite person. With her gentle nature and kind heart, Luna would be a perfect match for an older individual and is also wonderful around small children. She has a sensitive stomach and is selective with treats, having done best on Gentle Giants food throughout her life.

Story
River is a year and 3 months old and a mix of Great Pyrenees, St. Bernard, Cane Corso, and German Shepherd. She weighs 105 pounds and has both the size and presence (that bark!) of a guardian breed, but also deeply affectionate and loyal. River is incredibly sweet and loving with her family, including our two children (both under 10). The daycare staff love her and she does does well in established play environments, and does well with mellow dogs, especially older dogs. She walks well on a leash and can be redirected when she becomes unsure or reactive. She is not reactive to all dogs or people, but she is very protective of her home and family. The reactivity manifests as big loud barks and lunges at new visitors to the house that we have not been able to manage. We believe she would thrive best with an adopter with experience with guardian breeds.

Story
Meet Sarge: The Magnificent Guardian Seeking a Dedicated Leader Sarge is a truly magnificent sight: a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees with a striking white and tan, beautiful coat, weighing a robust 120 lbs. He is a dog of immense loyalty, presence, and a big heart waiting for the right human to lead him. Sarge is a special-needs adoption case, and we are looking for a very specific, experienced home dedicated to his success. His Ideal Kingdom: Experienced Adult-Only Home: Sarge requires an experienced dog owner with a strong, dedicated hand who is ready to commit fully to continued training and structure. Solo Ruler: Sarge must be the only pet in the household. He does not do well with other dogs, cats, or small animals. No Children: Due to his size and training needs, Sarge requires a home with no children. Private Sanctuary: He needs a secure, private yard where he can confidently guard his space without interactions with neighboring dogs. This is where he feels safe and can truly relax. Why the Effort is Worth It: Sarge is a deeply loyal guardian who is stuck waiting for a chance. He has spent too long in a boarding facility simply because we haven't found his match. When his devotion is earned, he is a confident, watchful companion who will bond deeply with his person. He needs a leader who understands the Great Pyrenees breed and is ready to give him the time and training needed to thrive. If you have experience with large working breeds, are committed to ongoing dedication, and are ready for a dog that requires structure but offers unparalleled loyalty, please consider Sarge. Interested in Sarge?
