Story
Romeo is a large white and cream‑colored Great Pyrenees mix with a soft heart and an even softer temperament. After coming from a difficult outdoor situation, he has settled beautifully into indoor life and continues to show more of his sweet personality every day. Romeo is fully house trained and has had zero accidents in his foster home. He thrives with routine and predictability. Romeo is non‑reactive, polite, and easygoing. He enjoys being around other dogs as long as they are friendly and respectful. With his calm, affectionate nature, Romeo would likely do well with dog‑savvy children who understand large breeds. He walks beautifully on a leash! He’s not a high‑energy dog and is happiest in a peaceful, predictable environment. Come meet this affectionate, gentle pup who is ready for his forever home! Swing by the AARF House on Saturdays between 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. to meet our adoptable animals! We're located at 302 Thurston Street in Winston-Salem. Get the adoption process started and head to aarfws.org to fill out an application!
