Story
Meet Aurora Blu! 💙 Aurora Blu is a big, beautiful girl with an even bigger heart. Shelter life has been a little overwhelming for her, so she's feeling anxious right now, but once she knows she's safe, all she wants is love and attention from her people. She's wonderfully house-trained, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys spending time by your side. While toys aren't really her thing, she does have a soft spot for chasing a ball every now and then! Aurora Blu has lived with other dogs and cats and can do well with both—but there's one very important rule: all meals, treats, and even human food need to be kept completely separate. She has shown food aggression around other animals, so she'll need to be fed separately and have her own space anytime food is involved. Outside of mealtimes, she's done well living with other pets. She's also great with kids and loves soaking up affection from everyone she meets. Aurora Blu is currently taking Fluoxetine to help manage her anxiety in the shelter. Her previous family had already begun weaning her off the medication and felt she would likely be able to continue doing so once settled into a stable home. For now, she's staying on it to help her cope with the stress of the shelter environment. If you're looking for a loyal, loving companion and can provide a little patience while she settles in, Aurora Blu will reward you with endless affection and unwavering friendship.

Story
Wylie is an 1 to 2 year old, 67-lb Great Pyrenees mix who has been doing wonderfully in foster care with structure, routine, and clear communication. He has adjusted very well to a consistent daily routine and is proving to be a thoughtful, responsive young dog. Wylie has been introduced to a neutral female dog and does great with her — both dogs are polite, relaxed, and respectful of each other’s space. He is currently working through slow, structured introductions with other foster dogs. These introductions are done gradually with obedience incorporated into every interaction, and Wylie has been very receptive and eager to learn.Dog social skills:• Outdoors, through fencing, Wylie is friendly and playful. He often invites interaction with play bows and happy vocalizations.• Indoors, in neutral spaces, he remains calm, relaxed, and appropriately social, even when dogs are able to sniff through fencing.• He responds very well to high-value rewards and positive reinforcement during these interactions. In areas he considers more “his space” — such as his kennel area or the office — Wylie can show some context-based reactivity. This does not appear to be aggression. Instead, it’s consistent with territorial or barrier-related behavior that is likely learned over time rather than emotionally driven. This type of behavior is common and manageable with structure. His foster mom who is a dog trainer has already begun addressing this with clear boundaries, structured obedience, and consistent commands like “leave it” and “quiet,” paired with fair corrections and strong positive reinforcement. Wylie responds quickly and learns fast.Because of this, adopters should be aware that similar behaviors could surface during the typical three-month decompression period after adoption. With consistency, routine, and clear leadership, this behavior has proven very manageable.Overall:Wylie is a smart, responsive, and promising young dog who thrives with structure and clear communication. He continues to make great progress and would do best in a home committed to routine, training, and helping him continue building confidence.I am crate trained, house trained, micro-chipped, neutered and up to date on my vaccines. My adoption fee is $300.00. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Fee: $400.00  Phoebe is a gorgeous 7-month-old German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her ears! This sweet girl is already off to a fantastic start—she has great potty manners, sleeps well in her crate through the night, and is learning the ropes on a leash. With a little consistency, she’s going to truly shine! Phoebe also loves a good game of fetch and would be thrilled to have a family who will play and keep her active. We have recently discovered she loves to play in water, too (she even stays on a floatie!) One of her favorite things in the world? Kids! She absolutely adores children and would make a wonderful family companion. Like any curious young pup, she does enjoy checking out what’s on the kitchen counter, so a little supervision there will go a long way as she continues to learn. If you’re looking for a loving, loyal, and playful addition to your family, Miss Phoebe just might be your girl New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes.
