Meet Tilly at Avon Hollywood Feed, May 23rd. She will visit from 11:00 AM to 12 noon!! Tilly is a 4 1/2-year-old Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix. We had her DNA done, and her top breeds were 58% Great Pyrenees and 27% Golden Retriever. Tilly weighs 75 lbs. Tilly is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows her basic commands (sit, stay, down, come, leave it). Tilly is very smart and learns fast. Tilly LOVES to zoom around the yard, so a physically fenced-in yard is required. She's great with dogs of all sizes and thrives with a canine companion by her side, so we are looking for a home with another dog that can show her the ropes! A fenced-in yard and a dog friend are perfect for Tilly, and we want her to be HAPPY! Tilly is a sweet, fluffy girl who just needs a moment to decide you’re worthy—and once she does, she’s yours forever. She’s not shy; she’s discerning ;-). Give her a little space when you first meet, resist the urge to rush in, and she’ll come sniff you out on her own terms and settle in calmly to investigate her new friend. But with her people… she’s a full-on love bug. Expect a persistent paw on your hand the second you stop petting her—classic Golden mix. Her ideal home is patient, has a fenced-in yard, and already has a dog who would love a fluffy new best friend. Josie is a 9 month old Great Pyrenees mix. She weighs 50 lbs. She is doing great in foster care. Josie is a sweet heart and gets along well with everyone. She is good with other dogs and does fine with the cat. She is housetrained and cratetrained. Josie is still a puppy and does get into some stuff if you don’t keep an eye on her or keep things put away. She is very active and needs a family who will enjoy playtime and exercise. Josie does great on the leash and in the car. She will either need a fenced in yard or to be kept on leash while outside. Josie has been vet checked, spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and is on heartworm/flea prevention. Penelope is one of those dogs that instantly makes the environment around her feel calmer. She has a relaxed, easygoing personality and doesn’t seem interested in creating chaos or drama. While other dogs are bouncing around demanding attention, Penelope is usually content just hanging out nearby, lounging in the sun, or quietly observing what’s going on around her. At around 2 years old and 45 lbs, Penelope has a wonderful middle-ground personality. She enjoys going on walks, exploring, and being part of whatever you’re doing, but she’s equally happy spending the afternoon relaxing outside or stretched out beside you after a long day. She’s great with both dogs and cats and has a naturally calm social style that helps her fit easily into group environments. Penelope has a soft, grounded presence that makes her very easy to live with.
