Norfolk is a sweet boy, love everyone, loves to play with other dogs. He is a guardian dog so an initial introduction is best. He was found tied to a railroad crossing signal and had been reported by a conductor that saw him by there a week earlier. He is recovering from severe malnutrition and some internal parasites. He has slight food aggression so we feed in crate and that works well for him. I expect the aggression to subside as he gets used to not being starved. He is available for foster to adopt but we want to keep an eye on his weight progress until he is at least 80% recovered.

Hi there, I’m Malibu. Yep, like the sunshine place. I think it fits me pretty well once you get to know me. I’m a 1.5-year-old girl with long legs, a big smile, and a heart that’s even bigger than my 66 pounds. I had a bit of a rough start and spent some time wandering around on my own when I was younger. I guess I was just waiting for the right people to notice me. Good news is, I found my way back to safety and now I’m ready for my real forever home. I’m a sweet soul and I really love other dogs. Having a buddy around makes me feel more confident. I can be a little shy at first, so I might not barrel right up to you, but give me a minute and you’ll see my gentle, loving side come out. Once I trust you, I’m all in. Loyal, affectionate, and happy just to be near you. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted, easygoing girl who will quietly steal your heart and then never give it back, I think we might be meant for each other.
